I guess I'm the only one who disagrees. Just like every other season, when the information has been verified it will be released. Until then, it really is just speculation. Just be patient.

One has to consider the possibility of two flights connecting through different cities to the first destination. (And that Phil and production may even be on a direct flight.)

Other possible connections could be through Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul.

There are actually three flights from Guam to Manila that arrive within 2 hours of each other, so maybe all teams are on the LAX-Guam flight and then are split up.

redwings8831........

I like your idea. Isn't this the same thing they did in TAR 20. All teams were on same flight to Miami and then split onto two flights to BsAs?

If they split the teams into two different routes.......the only one I can see is the following.......and it is predicated on the assumption that the teams on the LAX-MNL route are the tail end charlies........

Either of these flights from LAX to YVR....
WS 1699     745pm-1027pm  or
AC  557       800pm-1045pm

then  YVR-MNL
PR 107  1230 am - 530 am

This would give the lead teams a 25 minute head start.......but I really think the split is in Guam as proposed by redwings8831

There is another possible route.......LAX>PEK>MNL.....but it only has a scheduled 30 minute connection time in Beijing.....too short for TAR to book on opening leg I believe.

This fits with a tweet I just noticed:

The LAX>PEK flight was false data......so no connection with a reasonable arrival in Manilla is possible through Beijing.

I like the idea of splitting the teams in Guam....a two hour differential is about the same as going to BsAs last race.......after splitting the teams in Miami.

1:30 - Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific 881)
1:35 - Taipai (Eva Air 15)
1:58 - Panama City (Copa Airlines 303)

Other terminals:

12:40 - Tokyo (5)
12:55 - Guadalajara (2)
1:05 - Mexico City (6)
1:30 - Leon/Guanajuato (2)
1:35 - San Salvador (2)
1:35 - Guatemala City (2)
1:35 - San Salvador (2)

1:40 - Beijing (2)
1:45 - Morelia (2)
1:55 - Guadalajara (6)

From LAX info:

Teams are on two flights:

TPE Taipei CI 7  China Airlines 1:15 AM  T-B

TPE Taipei BR 15  EVA Air 1:35 AM    T-B

and then connecting onwards.

No Guam -> Manila?
