Just to help people out: Sunset in LA on this day of the year is just before 8 PM PDT, twilight lasts another hour after that. Checking Weather Underground, there are coastal flood advisories in some parts of southern California, although it is mostly clear, and no rain in the area. There's been some wind but from what I've read it will be at or below 15 mph tonight, so flights should not be affected.
This of course, assumes this will be a LAX departure (but the odds are in favor of that given the last 8 seasons.)
