The Amazing Race production has gotten the green light to shoot a pilot for yet another show, this time for A&E. They will soon have a show on every network except American Movie Classics.

Here's the story from TV Guide (http://www.tvguide.com/News/Amazing-Race-Producers-AE-1053867.aspx):

Exclusive: The Amazing Race Producers Line Up New Reality Project at A&E

Fresh off their ninth Emmy win for outstanding reality competition series, The Amazing Race executive producers Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri have set up what could be their next show, a reality series currently in the works at A&E.

A&E has ordered a pilot (working title: Dash for Cash) from van Munster and Doganieri that will focus on two couples competing against each other in a variety of challenges for a shot at $50,000. The rival couples travel from small town to small town around the country in a quest for the cash. The show would be close-ended, with new contestants each week; the winners get the money at the end of each episode.

Van Munster and Doganieri were also behind this summer's TNT reality series The Great Escape, and have a Bellator Fighting Championships mixed martial arts show in the works at Spike TV. Their past credits include ABC's Take the Money and Run, Oprah's Big Give and Profiles from the Front Line.
