TAR 20 Winners Revealed??????
« on: February 26, 2012, 08:23:50 PM »
Last season's winners were included in our local cable provider's (WOW) episode description.
Every single episode description stated only Ernie and Cindy's names.
This season both episode descriptions have included Rachel and Dave Brown only in the description.
Is this a coincidence or an oversight?
Any else find the same with their cable providers?

Interesting stuff! And :bigwelcome to RFF. From the spoilers here that win is certainly a possibility. However it could be a coincidence because I don't know if the cable providers know who wins ???

It could be their last names are first on the alphabetical list "Brown" with B is the first last name.

Thanks for the welcome.
But I would think that CBS would provide the descriptions, rather than the cable system, no?
Maybe up to the cable provider to edit appropriately.
Hope that's the case since last season was a major buzz kill at the end since we had the winners pegged from the beginning of the season.

EDIT - Alphabetical list came to mind last season, but Ernie and Cindy last name was an H and there were others earlier in the alphabet.

Bill and Cathi Alden and Liz and Marie Canavan would have been listed ahead of Cindy Chiang

It looks like this is coming from CBS but it is just random because all the press releases this year have Dave and Rachel as the first team listed and all the ones from last season had Ernie and Cindy first. However from TAR 18 Gary and Mallory were always listed first. CBS seems to sort these randomly without taking into account the alphabetical order of the first or last names.

You can got to www.cbspressexpress.com and dig through all the old releases to see what I mean.

Each team has a totally random number, perhaps those teams were #1 on the list? ???

Cable providers certainly have NO idea who wins!

A possibility is that the team name goes to the team that wins first leg?
