Here's a few of mine:

1. More all-male teams are eliminated first rather than all-female teams. (I never knew that)
2. There have only been a total of 11(or 13) all-female teams who made it to the Final 5 of The Amazing Race. (Dustin and Kandice and Kisha and Jen did it TWICE)
3. Not counting the Family Edition, only 7 Parent-Child & Grandfather-Grandson teams made the Final 5.
4. Out of the 19 seasons, 10 all-female teams have been eliminated at 9th place, another 8 have been eliminated at 10th place.

Spot any trends? :cmaslol

1. There's LOTS of co-ed teams. But they're probably the most diverse group.
2. All male teams have digressed over the course of the series.
3. All female teams have improved over the course of the series.
Physics alone is not enough.

Those who forget history are sure to repeat it.

Isn't it sad that they have only been 7 all-female teams in the Final 3 of 19 seasons of Amazing Race? :cmaslol

I think its pretty awesome that even though the trend suggests otherwise, all-female teams have only come last twice in 19 seasons as opposed to six times for all-male!

Wow. Just realized that while watching your table. Half of the final six in TAR5 were all-female teams, NONE of them made it to the final three :cmas18
Momily were the first and only parent-child team to make it to the final 5 until season 12, where there were TWO of them (which none won - make me think of the TARAS final three :cmaslol)

Even with the Family Edition. No parent-child team has ever won the race. :cmaslol

One small correction, Joab:

TAR19's 6th place team was all-male (Laurence & Zac), not co-ed. ;)
"I defy you to come up with a better name than Seven!"
"Alright... how 'bout Mug? Mug Costanza!"

also, one small correction, 6th places TAR17 should have a P (Gary/Mallory)

I have some similar statistics, but with 1st place finishes... I'll post them later here
