Awesome!

Sad that Cindy the Psycho is in the final three though.

I am hoping she'll get beat to the final mat by about 5 feet!!!

Why the Cindy hate? Ernie & Cindy have done well this race, they only had two bad legs, in Leg 3 and 5, and even then, in Leg 5 they finished in 3rd, they were never in danger of elimination. They have done well to make the final 3.

And I don't understand the Andy/Tommy hate also.

When Tommy and Andy outran them to the mat, she whined about it, expecting them to LET her and Ernie have a first place, when it was her own fault they were that close.

Then, she uturned Bill and Cathy, who would in no way have outraced them, just so she could get a first place leg prize.  Her sense of entitlement has irritated me to no end the entire race.

Tommy and Andy didn't bother me much.  They were just having fun.

This is why it would be a terrible mistake to cast superfans on future seasons of TAR. The negative backlash from fans towards racers who choose to take advantage of game-related twists that are provided for them by production and help teams gain a competitive advantage--which may range from $15,000 cash to luxury vacations--that is earned fair and square, is now a huge deterrent for future racers who may want to shake things up and make a bold, game-changing move, but end up forfeiting these opportunities to avoid being hated by fans and portrayed as being “mean-spirited” (Ernie), or accused of being selfish, entitled, whiny, etc. is just bad for the race, it's a drama-killer, and I don't want a racer's decisions to be influenced by the anticipated fan reactions, most of which are uniformly negative and often hostile.

Everyone is entitled to dislike one team or another, but it should never be because a team decided to use an advantage that's just as much a part of the race as the tasks themselves. This is a race after all, and every team should be in it to win it.

If I saw $15,000 slip through my fingers at the pit stop because I chose to not u-turn the team right behind me and found out the next day that I'd have the same opportunity, you bet I'd have learned my lesson and if I found myself in the same position, I would u-turn the team trailing behind me without flinching, even if it were queen elizabeth and betty white, and the only task remaining was a two mile uphill sprint to the pit stop. It's called being competitive. Praise it, don't hate it.

Did someone say something about 2 Roadblocks? If so, why is Cindy perfomring both?

AND, most important; no CLUEBOXES Roadblock?? :(

I thought it might be fun to point out some little curses that might be broken on the finale:

1. As you guys mentioned, the "home field" curse for Amani & Marcus!

2. The Express Pass Curse - the two teams on the US edition of the race who have won the Pass have both finished third.

3. Memory Challenge Curse - the first team at the Memory Challenge tends to struggle, although this was not the case with Flo & Zach (TAR3) and Nat & Kat (TAR17). Also, the only other Asian American female to have performed a Memory Challenge Roadblock was Christina on TAR12, and we all know what happened then... :'(
I'd rather walk alone than let them throw dirty confetti. ♥

My guess as to what a racer in a helmet was doing swinging in a safety harness up on a map of the world is:

tracing the route of AR19 from episode to episode in correct order (not so hard since this race was a continuous east to west with 2 north to south and one south to north movement) and region by region within the countries visited. This means that the connecting string (if that is what they use) will go from:

1. Los Angeles to Taipei region, Taiwan
2. Taipei to Jogjakarta (on Java, Indonesia)
3. Stay in the greater Jogjakarta region
4. Jogjakarta to Phuket, Thailand region
5. Phuket to Bangkok region
6. Bangkok to Lilongwe region (Malawi)
7. Lilongwe region
8. Lilongwe to Copenhagen region (Denmark)
9. Copenhagen to Billund to Hamburg to Brussels region, Belgium (note- this leg may be simplified for presentation)
10. Brussels region (includes Lommel, Ghent, Beersel)
11. Brussels to Panama City region, Panama
12. Panama City to Atlanta

Actually, I think that they only need to conect the countries, not the regions.
And it desent seem like there's a carabiner for each country.
Looks pretty easy finally... unless theres a carabiner for each european countries. In the preview, we dont see europe. Maybe someone will mess up :duno:

How long has it been since a map was used for the final task? Family Edition? And this one seems designed to be more physically difficult to complete with the hanging on a bungee harness.

I'll go one step further -- many of those teams that won were teams I picked pre-season to win starting with the first Race. This time around, I'll only admit that two of the teams I thought would make final three at the beginning of the season made it the other one made 4th place (and this isn't the first time that happened.)

I'm not picking a winner this season, I didn't have a strong feel about any one team pre-season, and I usually don't pick for the final leg since luck comes into it too much.

Wow, I agree with almost all of your recent ones (TAR10 onwards) and I loved the TAR3 Final Three too! The only ones I personally disagree are TAR2, and 4-7, but that's just me! :cmas16

Now that Andy&Tommy just got Zev&Justin'd...

I'm rooting for Ernie and Cindy... I want an express pass team to win this season, plus they're

YELLOW (like Gallory and Charla&Mirna)  :cmas9 and I bet Cindy will rock that map challenge, it's kind

of a brain task and I think she's the brainiest this season,
I wanna rip a TAR clue envelope someday, =)
