No names yet...but thanks to a confirmed tip...these ladies are in Law Enforcement in the LA area.

That narrows it down to about a few hundred people...

I found something... Detective Olivia Benson, but she's in New York...

Isn't that a TV character? ???

I think the team seen in Osaka is also visible at LAX.

The guy wearing the khaki top in the second picture seems to be the one also checking in in Osaka. It seems to be the same hat that he's wearing. And if you look slightly to the left of the girl next to him's head, you can see a flash of blonde hair. I believe this is his partner. She also seems to be wearing the same top as at the Pit Stop.

Also, it looks like the bag in front of the guy at the airport is the same one the team members are wearing at the Pit Stop.

Is it safe to say that the blond in pic/reply #173 is the same blond in reply #221?  The one in #173 looks like she has short, short hair but it could have just been pulled back in a tight ponytail...  We were guessing she was partners with the other woman but now we see she is may be part of a M/F team!?!  :reindeer

Taking another look... nevermind!  The blond with the other woman has a blue backpack (unless she has her other jacket sticking out of it... (she has on grey jacket with other woman - blue jacket at PS in Japan.)

I was looking at this photo... 2 people don't belong here, they don't have backpacks and are dressed to well... but, I do have a theory.  In the background there are TWO white vans.  The group of people walking look to be 2 teams and a couple of bystanders.  Were Rachel & Brendan already there and gone to their hotel?  :cmas5

Could the Osaka sighting be decoys to throw spectators off the scent of the F3 teams heading for Honolulu most likely from Narita if flight arrival correlations with spottings in Honolulu are accurate?

Well, there is a pitstop picture with Phil.  Don't know if they would go that far for a decoy?

LucyBell,

How do you get teams to Honolulu in time? There is a way, but I doubt that World Race Productions used it. The famous Shinkansen bullet train from Osaka connecting in either Shinagawa or Tokyo and on to Narita could get teams there in time. The 3 flights that arrive Honolulu in time depart Narita in the evening. The total train time Osaka to Narita at minimum is 3.5 to 4 hours, so there would be ample time to get there IF F3 teams were released from a pit stop in Osaka no later than early afternoon December 19. Waiting at Kansai Airport Osaka for flights from there does not fit the available information.

apskip, don't shoot the messenger!  I am just telling you what I saw in the pictures that are posted in sightings!  If teams were running decoy in Japan to throw people off the final 3 heading to Honolulu, why would they go so far as to set up a pitstop with Phil and the whole 9 yards?  Obviously they would have had to get Phil to Honolulu to do his stand up's etc. so why couldn't they get the F3 teams there as well?

apskip, why wouldn't TPTB use the bullet train if it made their planned route work?  It's not like the show hasn't used the bullet train in Japan before, and there's nothing that disqualifies it from being used.

Heee... :bigwelcome to RFF nyluvs!

Here is the deal:

RFF is aware (100%) that B/R were recruited for the show (100%), that they wanted to do it (100%), and that they ARE reputed to be on the show (100%).

Is this the identification photo I would have liked? well, not exactly.....esp after last season.  :-[
Better photos are hopefully on the way!

But nyluvs doesn't know that all of the mods cheerfully moonlight/are dragged kickin and screamin over to BB Updaters in the off season...so we all have our B/R hours.

Michael has impeccable Face/Body recognition, TL put in more hours than anyone.

So, that being said:

RFF announces our first TAR team to be Rachel Reilly and Brandon Villegas "Engaged Couple"

Now nyluvs...ahem.

What this means for YOU is if you are right....you win a 6 week holiday doing BB Updating AT RFF with the BEST Updating team on the web.  :conf:
And if you are wrong? We sentence you to a 6 week course of BB Updating. :snicker:
Deal? Deal!  :hearts:

teehee - peach is soooooo bad.

I actually think that Brenchel might be enjoyable on TAR.  It plays to their strengths, which are tasks and competitions, rather than a social experiment.

So I can't seem to remember when we had Teams on the Bullet Train before.  Was it TAR9?  Or did they drive?

In TAR9, teams drove to the amusement park, and Lake Yamagana.

In TARA2, they used the bullet train to get from Tokyo to Fukuoka (RIGHT before the Pit Stop...).

So they have never used the Bullet Train in USA TAR?

That makes me want to see it used in TAR20.   :cmas16

WP... When you said, or should I say goodbye... did you mean that they were eliminated here?  I thought when I viewd the pictures before, they had said they heard Phil say that was their 2nd consecutive win?

I am thinking there are 2 M/F teams and 1 M/M team in the finals?

He had said that to an earlier team. Bopper & Mark checked in and then the crew started packing up.

Nice find wp!
