Just to throw out there...
There is an NCAA Tourney basketball game starting at 5 ET on CBS. Typically, a basketball game lasts around 2 hours, but add in post game coverage, could cause it to overrun past 7 ET which would result in a delay (because of 60 Minutes typically starts at 7). I am pretty confident that there will be a delay for TAR, so watch out.

Jimmer, under the new 68 team format, that will be one of the last games in the 3rd round of the opening weekend of the NCAA men's tourney, so overtime is also possible. (Basketball has 5-minute overtime periods, and they keep at it until a team is ahead at the end of an overtime. Seven I believe is the NCAA record for the number of overtimes.)

CBS has confirmed the possibility of a NCAA Basketball Tourney runover on Sunday in this Eye-lert just sent out:

Quote
An NCAA runover on Sunday, 3/18 could delay start times for 60 Minutes (7pm ET), The Amazing Race (8pm ET), The Good Wife (9pm ET) and CSI: Miami (10pm ET).

If so, you will receive a message on Sunday with exact details of revised start times.

Thanks for registering for this CBS Eye-lert.

5:15 PM tip time for the late game in Greensboro (Eastern). Duke losing won't prevent a delay in this weekend's TAR episode (UNC now gets the late game nod).  That's the earliest the game will tip (with the exclusion of OT, post game, etc).

Set your DVR accordingly!

This UNC/Creighton game is going to finish its 1st half at about 618pm. that means a 633pm start to the second half and, with the fouls and timeouts and slow down the end of the game, about a 725pm finish.

There are 10 minutes remaining in the 2nd half of the UNC/Creighton at this time. Also, halftimes in the NCAA tournaments are 20 minutes, not 15 (not that it matters at this point).

Still waiting for Eye-lert but 8:40-8:45 would be a great bet, timewise.

There are two basketball games on CBS tomorrow. The first is Kentucky and Baylor in the southern division championship and starts at 2:20EDT. If it gets done in time (it should) then the UNC and Kansas midwestern championship is scheduled to begin at 5:05EDT. This is most likely to cause a 10 to 15 minute overrun for 60 minutes and TAR.

I would anticipate a larger delay because CBS will want to broadcast postgame as they did last Sunday.

The games at this point in the tournament tend to run over 2 hours, even if no overtime periods are required. Often there are a lot a free throws due to fouls, and those take place without running the game clock. So, because CBS is carrying the rest of the games from this point onwards, the second game won't start until the first game has wrapped up, even though they're being played in different cities. That is how the delay could happen even without any overtime. What's remarkable this year is that there have been very few blow-outs and very few overtime games.

I don't see the second game being delayed by the first because that would mean the first one took 3 hours to complete. I guess it could be pushed to starting past 5:05 if there is a commentary show between combined with a long game.

The Kentucky/Baylor game is starting the 2nd half right now and will be over by 430pm. There should be no impediment to the second game starting by 5pm.

Baylor/Kentucky is over at 448pm (it took almost 20 minutes to play the last 4 minutes with all the fouls and timeouts).

CBS's on-screen listing says 505pm is the tip time for game 2.

I couldn't believe how many times Baylor fouled at the end  Kentucky ended up with over 40 penalty shots.
