Who were the best task masters in TAR history?
« on: November 07, 2011, 10:35:52 AM »
Who were your favourite task masters throughout Amazing Race history? By this I mean the people who judge the tasks, assist as part of the tasks and hand over clues.

I know at least one person on here who'll concur with my opinion that the Russian Baker from Season 13 was the most memorable!

Don't forget the opera singer in Prague from TAR 15. Not the best but certainly memorable!

Pitstop Greeters? I also loved the one in El Nido in TAR 5. Really, she represents peace somehow.

I love all of these! The Russian baker, the opera singer, the head babushka, and the gardener are all awesome!

How about the wild cowboy Pit Stop greeter in TAR 9, Leg 9?
Physics alone is not enough.

Without the corn lady in TAR7 being so tough with Ray & Deana, Brian & Greg would never have had the chance to stage their amazing car crash comeback and smoke Ray & Deana to the mat.

Favorite Pit Stop greeter for me was this guy:

"WELCOME TO BUUUDAPEST! HUNGARY!"
"I defy you to come up with a better name than Seven!"
"Alright... how 'bout Mug? Mug Costanza!"

The chocolate woman was pretty funny in Zermatt, S18.

Woman: Now you must rotate the body in all directions
Big Easy: Yeah, work it Flight Time, work it! Use your hips!
Woman: No not your body, this body!

Woman: Hold it. Hold it!
Zev: I'm holding it.
Woman: It's getting heavy.
Zev: Okay.
Woman: Because I am filling it with chocolate.
Zev: Thanks Captain Obvious.
Justin: Zev! Be nice!

I was rewatching some TAR14 the other day, and I wanted to list a couple of 'task masters' that were quite memorable:

1. The poor little Thai man with the one arm. A couple of the teams made comments about it, which were quite funny.

2. The people involved in the Thai Detour: 'Broken Record'. I loved Jennifer's comment about them, and there is a  scene with one of them running their fingers over Mark & Michael which is hard to forget! :cmaslol

3. When you think of TAR14, you think of the interesting relationship between Jaime Edmondson and China. So I have to mention the little Chinese couple who conducted the 'Choreography' Detour option. They weren't particularly memorable themselves, but Jaime yelling at them is definitely very memorable! :cmaslol
