There are plenty of people on the web that don't like RFF and/or TAR spoiling. Then there is the whole theory about CBS plants...

It's not so much RFF in general or the fact that RFF spoils... Lots of people come here to get spoiled, me included.  But some people had been spoiled to being spoiler stealers, LOL, meaning, they would come here to get super spoilers and then take the spoilers back to their own forums and post them as their own.  Lately, the super spoilers are not being posted here like they use to be and it has some people in an uproar.  Personally, it makes me mad that those people spoiled it for the rest of us who come here to be spoiled.  I am not super internet savvy or I would try to help find this information too!  B:)

I don't know if the information on Foz do Iguacu is really true, but if it is that is spectacular. This was visited in AR2 but I would love to see it again. It beats Victoria Falls as the most exciting waterfalls in the world.

It's possible the ones that don't have gotten the site from elsewhere ... Meaning it was "taken" from here, posted somewhere else than a forum takes it from that other place and has no idea it came from RFF.

But yes, it is annoying when people don't receive the credit they're due!

Yet another first time twitterer checks in:

RobertoManarez RobertoManarez
The Amazing Race 20 en Punta Del Este. Tengo fotos..Pasaron por mi casa Se trata de dos cuadras de mi casa
7 minutes ago

Google translates this as:

The Amazing Race 20 in Punta Del Este. I have pictures .. passed by my house is two blocks from my house

Punta Del Este is in Southeastern Uruguay on the Atlantic coast.

I know that several following this consider the above to be a hoax. There are Buguebus ferries from Buenos Aire (all but one of which stops in Colonia on the way to Montevideo) on this schedule:

BUENOS AIRES
12:30 / 30 NOV 11
Pto de Dna NORTE    COLONIA
13:30 / 30 NOV 11    MONTEVIDEO
16:45 / 30 NOV 11

BUENOS AIRES
15:30 / 30 NOV 11
Pto de Dna NORTE         MONTEVIDEO
19:45 / 30 NOV 11

BUENOS AIRES
18:30 / 30 NOV 11
Pto de Dna NORTE    COLONIA
19:30 / 30 NOV 11    MONTEVIDEO
22:45 / 30 NOV 11

BUENOS AIRES
23:59 / 30 NOV 11
Pto de Dna NORTE    COLONIA
03:59 / 01 DIC 11    MONTEVIDEO
07:14 / 01 DIC 11

From Montevideo it is a 75 mile bus ride to Punta del Este and there are nonstop flights from Buenos Aires to Punta del Este as follows:

7:35 am   →   9:25 am   AEP-PDP   -   -   -   -   T   F   -   pluna 204
8:30 am   →   10:20 am   AEP-PDP   -   M   -   -   -   -   -   pluna 202
10:20 am   →   12:10 pm   AEP-PDP   S   M   -   -   T   F   S   pluna 208
10:30 am   →   12:20 pm   AEP-PDP   -   -   -   -   T   F   -   pluna 206
12:30 pm   →   2:20 pm   AEP-PDP   S   M   -   -   -   F   S   pluna 108
2:05 pm   →   3:55 pm   AEP-PDP   S   M   T   W   T   F   S   pluna 118
7:15 pm   →   9:05 pm   AEP-PDP   S   M   -   -   T   F   -   pluna 262
7:45 pm   →   9:35 pm   AEP-PDP   S   M   -   W   T   F   S   pluna 130
10:20 pm   →   12:10 am   AEP-PDP   S   -   -   -   T   -   -   pluna 276
10:40 pm   →   12:30 am   AEP-PDP   -   -   -   -   T   -   -   pluna 272

I don't know about you, but I would love to see "The Hand" again (reference AR5, episode 1) and I think a revisit to that meat shop from which Charla ended up carrying a 55 pound hunk would make a fabulous throwback.

This does not minimize the value of AR20 going to revisit Iguacu Falls, which is another alternative reachable from Buenos Aires.

I want to have my cake and eat it too. I was surprised to find that there is a daily bus from Iguacu Falls to Montevideo.

Not many spoilers so far this season. Does anyone think they could already be on their second continent? That is what I think.

Too bad I was in Panama when it started.   :groan:

The Saturday, 7:30 pm indicators would have given sufficient time to run down to LAX and get shots before they took off from Gate 42B.

Oh well, I hope what I found in Panama about TAR19 helps to counter the lost opportunity.

Almost one week after the race started? I kind of find it hard to believe.

It started 4 days ago... And normally they're doing three or four legs in that continent.
But it may be their last leg tho in South America  :duno:

The last time they went to South America, information was hard to come by. I'm not too surprised. We did find a local newspaper article with a picture and perhaps that will happen again.

I know we've got a sighting of teams on a plane to Buenos Aires, but I'm struggling to see the logic in it. If teams landed at Miami at half 6 in the morning, they'd likely be on a morning flight, which would get them in late in the evening. I'm sure teams aren't racing in the dark, so there's bound to be an HOO at that time of night. But surely they wouldn't do that on the first leg? It would render having separate flights meaningless.

Unless we really do have a THIRD flight somewhere.

Maybe they bring back...they always did HOO in 1st leg until S15.
And I think  this can explain timeline:
1st leg:NOV28
2nd leg:NOV30
Now in 3rd leg...

It could work, if upon arrival in Buenos Aires, they'd needed to get sign-up times for the 1st task in the morning.

HOO's, sleep outsides. all very common first leg tactics.

Since we are getting some evidence of a second leg in BA, I am now wondering about an outside BA leg as the first one...this would be a good time for a bus ride somewhere...

Recoleta is one of the most famous neighborhoods in Buenos Aires! a lot of backpackers visit there daily and there are many hostels in the region, then is not so unlikely to appear more photos soon

between the places for tasks or even for the pit stop, I can see the Recoleta Cemetery which is where is the tomb of Eva Perón

but in fact, all the neighborhood is a very known for the great culture
