This was a near spoiler free episode.

Info included: teams were asking about Lake Malawi on the plane from Jo-burg, and some info that they may have been at the Sunbird Livingstone Hotel.

Screen cap analysis revealed the Location of the RB: Salima Bus Station and the task: Bicycle taxi a fisherman to ____?

And the Detour locations and tasks as well.

Episode includes a Double U-Turn with a shiny new ipad touch screen!

And Marcus/Amani have their as yet unseen Speedbump to perform.

Jennifer is seen saying..."I don't have my clue"

Andy has a bike mechanical failure.

Unless they start advertising it in the coming previews, I can't see the double U-Turn playing out as a major factor here. The preview from last night failed to mention it.

So ernie and Cindy will use their Express pass in this leg. If not there is sure that they will use it at leg 8 or they are the first team which won an express pass which they not use it for the entire legs.

I'm thinking the 'African taxi driver' thing is a Roadblock? Also it seems as though if it's in Lilogwe so the Roadblock is probably one of the first tasks

SO EXCITED FOR THE U-TURN!!!!!   :yess:
i think this may be where andy and tommy's race comes to an end  :duno:

Remember that teams are no longer in Lilongwi Center...they are now at the Kumbali Cultural Village, which is walking distance from the Lodge.
Directions:
From Lilongwe City Centre, head north out the city following Kamuzu Procession Road. Follow straight over the roundabouts passing Crossroads Hotel. At the Japanese Embassy Roundabout take the last exit right. Continue past the parliamentary building on your left and before reaching the presidential palace, turn left and follow signs to Kumbali Country Lodge.

Would be nice if we could match up this area... Crossroads Hotel was on the special thanks. Perhaps the RB is closer to the Village? :duno:

Also, I think cap 3 may show a RB clue in Andy's pocket? ???

And we don't know yet HOW they are getting to the Lake... hopefully the next preview will help with that.

I can see this happening. I think all the Andy and Tommy hate is playing in to TPTB's hands. They have led into specific things in the last episodes to make people ready for their elimination.
Also, it would be a smart move as a racer to U-turn them. They have won the most legs for one thing. For another, you shouldn't Uturn Ernie and Cindy unless you want to flush the EP. And those two are good at arriving in first at early route markers so they may be gone already. Probably no one will Uturn Bill and Cathi and Amani and Marcus may not be perceived as a threat. That just leaves a few options.

Only because you don't like them. TPTB haven't really edited them to be bad people other than that one comment they made. I see their editing as being end-gamers with all the focus put on them for them to fall short this early. They may very well be U-Turned by another team, but seeing as it is a double U-Turn and they get tasks done quickly, I wouldn't see it as a game ender. All of this is pure spec though. We have to evidence to say anyone even chooses to use it.

No, I do like them a lot. I just think that the editors purposely threw in some scenes that would cause controversy. You are right about how they could beat out the other person U-turned. That is, unless everyone turns on the strong team like they did to the cowboys.

I can't help but feel that this will be a strange elimination and Bill and Cathi will survive again.

I would like to see Ernie & Cindy wait until Episode 8 to use the Express Pass.  It would be cool to see them on the Starting Mat and after they rip open the first clue state that they are now using their Express Pass to go meet Phil at the Mat.

They only get to skip one task. However, if they choose that skipped task wisely, they could leapfrog over the others.
