Hi, New Here!!
I'm from Montreal, so I'll be on the look-out for anything related to the race here
I'm suprise that in 19 seasons, they never started with the city of Québec! They could get there by bus, from New-York or the Northeast, (which would be more private for them) and most people there are only-french speaking, so it would still have the language barriere. + its a beautiful city!
Maybe this season? :)

Welcome to the RFF! I think the race has to start and finish in the States, but that doesn't stop them from visiting Quebec.

Thanks! I know it HAS to start in the US, but I meant that the first leg would be in Quebec city. Like start the leg in N-Y, then take bus that leaves at 3 different time to quebec (like they do with airplanes). N-Y or any major destination in the Northest, like philadelphia, boston, etc

That would be interesting. I could only see that happening if the Race is trying to save money.

Or maybe it could be the final city. The last clue could say "Drive yourself to the border".

Another visit to Australia is needed, in particular Northern Territory. Actually anywhere in Australia and New Zealand.

I want to see a new country in the Pacific like Fiji, Samoa, Tahiti, or Palau.  Especially Palau with that lake full of Jellyfish.  Laos and Brunei along with Luxembourg I want to see on the race.  Harbin in Northeast China would be amazing especially with snow in this time of year.

I have noticed that a lot of wish lists are overwhelming threads meant for other purposes, particularly this one. Why not put them in the new AR20 Wish List thread I have created solely for that purpose?

I really wouldn't be surprised if it starts tomorrow in the late afternoon. It'd make sense for them to start when most people would be with family so as to avoid spoilers.

I thought that they would definitely start today(Wednesday) or Friday. I think it as actually possible to start tomorrow, they will have everyone at home with their families. I think it most likely to start Saturday/Sunday/Monday.

Hi there, what about a leg in London this season? There are few reasons for that:
#1 Phil has been there recently, he published some photo on Twitter. He's a producer, so maybe some late scouting?
#2 Last regular leg in London was in season 7. That's quite a long time ago for a huge city like London.
#3 Next summer there are Olympics in London - it will become the only city in the world to host Olympics three times. Moreover, we had Olympics-related tasks in season 14, so why not to do any similar tasks in this anniversary 20th season?
#4 Connection between LAX/NYC and London is one of the best, if not the best.

BVM has an intense love for Olympic destinations. Though commonly, the race visits the city after the olympics.

So would Toronto.

seconded.

Third, I visited this summer and it was wonderful. They have a new feature to the CN tower. You can walk around the edge fastened by a wire as you lean over the side. Seems very TAR.

So would Toronto.

I recall that Toronto got a partial leg in AR8 with Montreal and the St. Lawrence Seaway down to the NY state park where the Finish Line was. Vancouver has never had a leg, so I think it is overdue. It actually was the finale.

Note- Prophet was right in his correction below that it was AR8, not AR9.

For what it's worth, CBS, Phil Keoghan and Jerry Bruckheimer have all tweeted that Phil would be on Twitter during the TAR episode this iSunday. If that is true and Phil is tweeting (rather than some CBS publicity guy pretending to be Phil), then I expect that TAR 20 won't begin racing before next Monday at the earliest. I don't think Phil would be on Twitter while the race is being run.

Sure he could. Depending on timing, he could easily be somewhere that would give him an hour to tweet.

Or...not.

This race logically needs to be off no later than Dec. 3 (one week from today) to be able to finish on or before Dec. 24.

IMO, I think the race needs to start this Monday in order to get everyone back to their loved ones in time for Christmas. If they end on December 24th (a Saturday), forget it.
