Katy and Rick will be eliminated next week???  :'( :'(

Hi Mexican_Tab... we are not 100% sure, i really want them to be in the finale. It's just a speculation for what happened today about the penalty. Knowing that the twins and Maxi and Demi are on the final 3, i really doubt production is going to let Felipe & Alejandro be eliminated after losing Toya and Juan. But it's just my opinion about this, i can't talk in the name of the team that worked in this forum during the filming of the season.

That was harsh. 1 hour penalty for speeding??  :meow:
I do hope Kathy y Rick survived the next leg.

How many legs haven't had dogs? Also, if Kathy & Rick are eliminated, this will be the first time there's been a finale three of only one sex.

There are have been many dogs in the race, in almost every leg  Yeah, that was what i was thinking, an all-male finale would be really cool... because those are the strongest teams, and it would be a TAR first!

It was a really good leg actually, good tasks, i really liked when the teams had to take a ferry to get to the island and the race to get to the pit stop was just fenomenal.

It seems that at least the first part of the next episode they are still in Salvador.

Just for the heck of it I want Demi & Maxi to win.

Awesome leg! I really liked all the locations...

BTW, i also think the twins will win... because they were able to beat the colombians who departed first from the marina to the Pit Stop.

I also think that the first part of the final leg will take place entirely in Salvador.

I wonder why was Demi surprised when he opened that clue on the preview for the next episode!

At the introductions, I predicted Demi & Maxi to win just by how long their's was. I've been rooting for the twins though.

I haven't seen any of these seasons. How many episodes is the final leg? There seems to be a checkpoint in the middle, so is it a 2 hour episode, 2 separate episodes, or just a normal episode?

I really think that the producers are making TARLA too crappy. They are inconsistent with the rules, the graphics are rudimentary, the tasks are almost always staged and in a very low-budget way, the casting is way unbalanced, the lack of bunching points makes it really difficult for teams to scramble unless they screw up. The only things I really like are the scenery and that Harris has charisma. I feel that they're giving the Latin American market a very low quality product, and I wouldn't mind seeing more product placement if it would improve the show.

I agree. Not to mention the lack of diversity in the countries visited (only 5). I hope that if there's a 4th season they step it up a notch. Discovery Channel's version was better than Space's.

I think a five-country route could have definitely worked, had they not picked THESE five countries. I know there's a huge market in Brazil and Argentina for them to cater to, and I support the decision to go back to Chile, after it only got one leg the first time, but imagine if they'd kept the Chile legs and done a central American country, a Caribbean country, one of the smaller countries on top of Brazil, and Paraguay instead.

Edit: Still, at least we didn't have to put up with Mexico again. Lovely country, but... I'm glad they gave it a rest, and I hope they also give Argentina in particular a rest next season. Seven legs in three seasons is about five too many, even on a reduced-scale route.
