First of all, i don't think we are talking about the same kind of leg.

On seasons 1 & 2, it were double-lenght legs, last team to arrive on a double lenght leg is never eliminated, or penalised or something, it was one leg divided in two parts. And on season 3 it was a no-break leg, two different legs without a break between them, and since they are two separate legs, they can either don't penalize the teams, give them a speed bump or even eliminate them.

Honestly, I can't see the difference between what you call "double lenght legs" and "no-break leg". They looked pretty much the same to me. They kept running, received clues and Harry stated it wasn't a pitstop.

The difference is that a double lenght leg is one leg divided in two parts, and a no-break leg is a leg without a break. I know Harris said it wasn't a Pit Stop, but a producer said it was like TAR 18, 2 legs without a break, and since they are two different legs, they can do whatever they want at the end of each leg.

The difference between a no-break leg and double-length leg is essentially a prize for 1st place.

TARLA gave a prize for a double leg once, on season 1, and it wasn't a no-break leg.

Harris doesn't help at all in that point because he always says: there are 13 legs of the race.

It was! and i like 2 things, first is that legs are shorter and there is more time to show us every team doing the tasks, and second, there was an awesome footrace for last! Next time Uruguay i think!

I know that in this season they have a lower budget than those of the past seasons, but so far i'm dreading the lack of diversity in the countries they'll visit. If i recall correctly, there will only be 5 countries in this race, right?

We are not completely sure but that seems to be the case.
Other interesting point about the lower budget in this episode is that Toya and Juan del Mar did not receive a prize for getting 1st place.
And i haven't seen any sponsor for this season.  :duno:

I would say Toya & Juan are Final 5, so their status is not uncertain, they are completely safe!

They weren't eliminated in Uruguay nor Chile.

I think they are absolutely eliminated! Everything points towards that direction, because Rosy & Mónica were on a picture in Montevideo airport.

And one little thing, according to what they said in facebook they waited around 40 minutes for the bus, so they are at least 40 minutes behind Rosy and Monica at the pit start, and i bet Monica's faint is not that serious. Also the tasks for this leg seem very physical.

There are 3 hours and a half at least between every ferry so I'M HOPING AND PRAYING there's an equalizer with the ferry so we don't have to see that UGLY TRASHY white board to control the timing to keep the difference between every team.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  :groan:

Well from the promo you can see Demi & Maxi are still fighting with some mexican team to get a better position, and you can see that Juan says to Toya when he gave an answer with a board to a judge "esos manes lo hicieron rapido" (those guys did it quickly), so he is talking about the twins or Alejandro and Felipe, so maybe it's the same top 3 fighting for first place.

I'm pretty sure positions won't be moving that much! But i hope chileans finally win a leg, i think they are the stronger team (more than any of the colombian teams), but they haven't won a leg and that sucks.

Well we know they win at least one leg for sure. They are by far the most atletic team and in terms of physical tasks they won't have any problem, but i think they have some negative points they can improve like choosing the right tasks, asking for better directions and being quicker to find taxis and buses. If they can improve those points they could win in Colonia, Montevideo or Santiago. The other good team could be Demi & Maxi, i'm sure they will get a chance to improve hughly their poor performances in the previous legs, and Kathy and Rick will be the underdogs of the season (but in a good way, not like Aleandra and Marlene), so i'm VERY INTERESTED in what they can bring to the table.
