If one of these three teams is not eliminated next, I'll be surprised...
- Kaylani and Lisa
- Liz and Marie
- Bill and Cathi

I noticed something new in the closing credits.....the logo card for World Race Productions. It's new, that is for sure, and I don't recall WRP actually being in the closing credits before.

Something new!

Amani & Marcus remind me of a combination of Monica & Sharee, Chip & Kim, and Flight Time & Big Easy. Good spirited, loud, and never shut up about NFL.

That was a difficult puzzle at the business district. I don't know if I'd be able to figure out that it was the sign.

Fast Forwards stopped being available every leg because one team doing the task wouldn't be cost-effective. I can't imagine bungee jumping costing less for the show than eating some cheese or meat pies.

I'm glad Ernie & Cindy won the Express Pass!  I just hope this doesn't mean they come in third at the end like the previous Express Pass winners (Jill & Thomas and Gary & Mallory).

The best part for me was the returned passport facilitated by own of our own detectives :hearts:

It is so cool to watch all that happen live months ago and then see it unfold on TV.

What a coincidence that the girls decided to go to the airport which is the same place WP sent Ryan. Very cool :wohoo:
Physics alone is not enough.

Yes indeed.  In fact after the shot I sneaked in between BVM and the girls and asked them if one of them was Kaylani and did she get her passport back.  They said yes yes.  If it was no I was prepared to hunt down Ryan through our contacts.  But all was well.  Here are Ryan and Kaylani at the West Coast Premiere party tonight:

The TAR detectives save a Race team! :hearts:

This community is having more and more influence on the show. Imagine if they had another TAR8 style where it was mostly in the US :lol3: As it is they'll probably never go back to Indonesia or Taiwan.

Mr. Keoghan said Mr. Storms’s messages were spotted right away by an anonymous “uber fan” of the show in Georgia who was apparently monitoring all Twitter mentions of “The Amazing Race.” Such fans act as “Amazing Race” detectives, tracking movements of contestants and discerning who might be winning along the way. The fan quickly replied to Mr. Storms, saying, “She’ll need her passport! Can you get it to LAX?”
Mr. Keoghan said with a chuckle, “He was forced into saving Kaylani.”

Also monitoring online mentions of the show were “Amazing Race” producers in Taiwan. When they saw the passport chatter, they informed counterparts in Los Angeles there might be hope for the team, after all.

“The information went all the way to Taiwan before it came back to us,” said Mr. Keoghan, who had hurried to the airport to conduct the elimination.

I don't twitter...DM is direct message and RT is retweet but who or what is the pimp?

Pimp is LA hipster slang. Ryan tends to use it instead of "dude", since he doesn't surf.

Like, the pimps at CBS p-shopped out my twits account logo!

Most women are doing drums, men paddle (smart)

Ernie & Cindy make your way to the next Pit Stop.  Martyr's Temple

Last team to check in here will just be very tired.

Jeremy & Sandy 2
Justin & Jennifer 3

mswood, you're very close. It's actually Martyr's Shrine.

Now, who do we know who is an Amazing Race uber-fan who lives in Georgia? Hmmm! Any comment, Peach?

This is awesome...I have a feeling that they would have NEVER shown this unless they HAD TO, and they had to, because it didn't fit into their story without showing how the passport was recovered, without everyone crying foul over it, and blame production! Way to go!!
