The local number can be seen: Call Confucius at the number below and memorize some of his ancient wisdom.  ... too fuzzy to read.

Wait, so the 1-800-CONFUCIUS was simply a lie? I knew that was too convenient a phone number to be true!

YEAH, it's just a lie. In Taipei, there phone number has only 8 digits. As far as I remebered, it's like 27XX-XXXX in the clue. (I saw it when Sandy asked me for helping her to get the phone card.)

Come to think of it, there were no clueboxes in the episode. ??? The billboard, the odd clue wall at the temple, the clue pouch, and the clue hander under the bridge.

When the filming crew are rehersal(?) on the day before the teams come, they have set a cluebox there. However, they just didn't like it and decided to put it on the drummer in red & yellow. Maybe the crew knew that there are some TAR fans in Taipei and didn't want us to notice that.

Oh good, so at least they haven't scrapped clueboxes for good! I was getting worries as I don't recall ever seeing a cluebox in any spoiler photos..

After they arrived in Taiwan, they went to XiMenDing by bus and MRT.

Actually most team spent a lot of time looking for the billboard in XiMenDing, maybe at least 30 minutes. There are many exits (6 or 7) at the XiMenDing station, so many teams didn't know where to go.

When I went to DaJia riverside park, Phil and the staff were shooting for the "dragon boat task". I can't believe I can see Phil in person!!!!!!

My friends and I were waiting for teams. Maybe we had waited more than 30 minutes after Phil left. Finally the first team showed up! We asked the taxi driver about some info and he said the Asian girl can understand a little bit Mandarin.

After 10 minutes, teams started to show up at the DaJia riverside park. One of local staff yelled at me not to take photos. lol

My friends and I left when the first team was heading to the pit stop.
(byt the way, one of my friends is on TV!!! Pretty awesome!!!)

What is this at the Mall in Taipei? Looks like the clues the other teams had to get there? :duno: They seem to be editing out RI clues this season.

Is that a pull a number? Seems too small for a clue...but great eye!

They are definitely clues, I spotted them too. Can I ask though, why clueboxes are not in this season? Are they just having a break or are they gone as well? I wish they would slow the race down more. It has become very fast paced (I watched a bit of season 3 last night, and oh how things have changed!)

Adding these here for posterity...

First 2 were taken during set up; maybe they were still deciding?
