CBS has two late games on Sunday as part of the doubleheader -- Tennessee at Atlanta and San Diego at Chicago. One market is not airing a late game -- metro St. Louis and adjacent areas of Missouri and Illinois. I'll be on the lookout for the CBS Eye-lert on Sunday evening for the announced time delay once the late games are over.

This coming Sunday is another doubleheader Sunday for CBS, with fewer available games (as three NFL games are being played on Thursday afternoon and evening). While there are two west coast markets not getting the late game for the doubleheader, all east coast feed markets are getting either New England at Philadelphia, or Denver at San Diego. The Tampa, Jacksonville, and Orlando markets in Florida, and much of the Great Plains are getting the Denver @ San Diego game; although it doesn't matter as CBS will send the audience for the first game to finish to the other game.

Not likely there will be any further changes with the long holiday weekend in the U.S.

It's going to be a late finish for Patriots at Eagles on CBS. The third quarter has just started at 600pm. Expect approximately a 720pm finish to the game.

Yes, a majority of the east coast is seeing that game, but I'm seeing Denver\San Diego, and that's where our feed sometimes comes from so who knows... :duno:

It won't matter which game finishes first, as CBS will send that audience to the other game. We won't be having a spilt east coast feed this week.

CBS has switched over to Denver/San Diego for the East Coast. There is less than 2 minutes left. However, it is now a 13-13 tie and is likely to go to overtime.

San Diego just missed a 53 yard field goal. There is only 2:31 left in the game, so it will be over by no later than 750pm. With 5 minutes of commercials and CBS recaps 60 Minutes should start before 755pm.

OK, December 4th, CBS has only one game going to each market, and only one game that is in the late afternoon slot (Baltimore at Cleveland). However, a number of NFL home team markets are carrying the late game because of the NFL home market rules. So far, the home team markets with the CBS east coast feed that will carry the late game include: Houston, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Cleveland (and northern Ohio), Baltimore and Washington (including the Delmarva penisula but not Philadelphia), and Minneapolis (and central Minnesota). If any NFL teams do not get a sellout, there may be other markets added to this list by Friday.)

theschnauzers,

How could this game possibly be a FOX Early Game:

Denver at Minnesota?

That's an AFC team playing at a NFC team, which is always a CBS game, not FOX.

Could the www.506.com mapmakers have made a mistake?

Edited for clarity:

Since much of the country is getting Denver at Minnesota as an early game on FOX, I'll have to guess that it has to do with the blackout/sellout rules. (When there is a sellout in a home market the local station of the network with the game gets to air that as their one game for the day. And as to the visiting team market, CBS is shown airing the single late game it has (Baltimore@Cleveland) in the Denver and surrounding team market.) So the maps are showing it properly with the NFL blackout/sellout rules.
If there are errors, that site is pretty good about updating game changes by Fridays, so I'll be checking then to see if there are any changes on their maps.
