I suspect that given how ridiculously hot it was in Atlanta that many of the tasks may have been indoors (much like all the indoor tasks in Vegas).

I would say the same for other obvious places like Olympic Park and the Georgia Aquarium. Lots of people there, most of whom tweeted about it but no sightings.

The only way WRP could handle somewhere as busy as Atlanta is to go somewhere where most people aren't.

of course TAR15 had them repeling down Mandalay Bay and no one had a clue!

Given the fact that when they were doing the repel, they were on a side of the hotel not visible from the Strip, then... Yeah, nobody was seeing them. Although I wonder what they told people staying in hotel rooms on that side? "We need you to leave your room for a little bit, as we're going to be filming something here today"?
I thought that when we fought, I was to blame
Now I know you play a different game
I've seen you dance with danger; still wanting more

Probably told them that people are doing windows cleaning.

I like it that this season has limited spoilers after Indonesia, especially when I'm not following the spoilers anymore. :)

Personally, I find next season's route awesome.

leg 1: Taiwan (only visited once before)
leg 2/3: INDONESIA!!
leg 4: Phuket
leg 5/6/7: Malawi and/or South Africa and/or Kenya (a region that has not been visited since TAR 11)
leg 8/9/10: Europe (with a possibility of a third new country ex.: Belgium)
leg 11: hopefully Panama (Central America was last visited by a normal race in TAR 3)
leg 12: Atlanta (Peach's city, maybe she handed out the final clue )

This race course is seeming more and more like the fans wishlist course  Indonesia, Denmark, Belgium, Atlanta, etc. are places people have been pushing for a long time and now we have them all at once.

I have to agree. It's looking like my all time favorite course. If they have come up with great teams and great detours and roadblocks too, we'll be all set.

So it is shaping up to be:

Leg 1: USA-Chinese Taipei
Leg 2: Chinese Taipei- Indonesia
Leg 3: Indonesia
Leg 4: Indonesia-Thailand
Leg 5: Thailand-Malawi
Leg 6: Malawi
Leg 7: Malawi-?
Leg 8: ?- Denmark
Leg 9: Denmark
Leg 10:Denmark-Belgium
Leg 11:Belgium-Panama
Leg 12: Panama- Atlanta, USA.

That mystery destination connected through Amsterdam. If the leg was in Amsterdam why would teams fly to Denmark and then back to Belgium?

Also, there was a sighting that put teams in Helsinki?

No...you cannot assign leg numbers yet, there are still either missing locations or double legs to sort out.

I would do this for now:

Leg 1: USA- Taipei
Leg 2: Indonesia
Leg 3: Indonesia
Leg 4: Phuket
Leg 5: Thailand
Leg 6 (?): Malawi
Leg 7 (?): Malawi
Leg? Denmark
Leg? Belgium
Leg?
Leg 11:Panama City
Leg 12:Atlanta, USA.

With the understanding that the LEG NUMBERS after Thailand are not yet firm. Any Leg with a (?) could be re-numbered (the legs themselves are not in doubt, only the Leg #'s)

We believe Malawi to be a double leg, one of the other countries will likely be as well. But based on the info we have, another country can not yet be ruled out either, although :duno:

Malawi probably follows Thailand with Joburg as transit only, but even that is not yet proven 100%.

So don't jump ahead of ourselves please...  I would like our proposed Timelines to be as accurate as possible in reflecting what we know for SURE.

4 new countries (5 for some) in only one season?!?!?  :ascared :jumpy:
Isen't it to much?? I mean... the last time there were more than 3 new countries was in TAR 12 with 5 (or 4). TAR 13 had 3 new ones and then TAR 14-18 had only one or two... Don't they want to keep some for later seasons???
Is Belgium for shure??? Or is it only based on the facebook post... :duno:

Anyway, this may be my all time favourite course for me two  :hearts: (maybe after TAR 10)

Is it safe to say teams connected through Amsterdam to get to Copenhagen?

Given the timeline I think that's the only thing you can say.  Teams arrived at AMS on July 3rd.  And then they are already 40 km outside of Copenhagen mid-day on July 4th.

With Northern Europe being towards the end, i would  venture to bet trains were used instead of planes....thats how i would travel that area...

Any ideas of trains between Brussells and Copenhagen.

I expect our transportation experts will have better insights than me, but after checking a travel forum and checking the train schedules, it appears that flying is much faster and recommended over trains. Trains take about 14-16 hours to travel from Copenhagen to Brussels (or vice versa) with a train change in Cologne, Germany. Most of that time is spent on a slow train between Cologne and Copenhagen. The trains leave in the evening and arrive the next morning, so if the leg was completed in morning, you'd have to sit around and wait until early evening for the train.

That timing might be attractive to WRP for HD filming purposes though.

Keep in mind that production sometimes decides to use trains (or even long-distance buses) in order to allow Phil to fly and get ahead of the teams. That's more or less something the show has to do in conjunction with the length of pitstops in order to manage Phil's filming schedule before teams arrive at a new city or country.

I wonder how the Hazard could differ from the Speed Bump. :duno: Perhaps rather than having to an extra task, they have to take a predetermined task an extra step than everyone else has to. What does anyone else think?

I don't know what this hazard could be, but I'm thinking it's dished out at the Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple in Hacienda Heights. Why else would the group shot be taken there? We know they start in Pt. Mugu, why would they be stopping to take the photo, the race has already begun ???

Though 'Hazard' spells out danger to me... maybe the teams placement is 'dangered' and could possibly be pushed down...?

Remember that we already know that one team was significntly behind on the first leg...wonder if the penalty twist is applied right then instead of on the following leg?

Do both RB's ? ??? pure spec..

Both seem viable and possible to me. A team could lose a certain number of spaces at the Pit Stop, though this is similar to marked for elimination, or both team members have to do the Roadblock. :duno: It just seems like to me it would be something other than an extra task.
