If I had to guess, I'd say Bangkok is a connection point to somewhere else in Asia/Africa/Middle East.

Bangkok does have a lot of connections. I am still thinking they will stay in Asia, though.

Speculating it could be Chiang Mai, not visited since TAR2.

This morning, my friend from Kaskus (kotakcokelat) spotted them at Jogja airport buying that 13.45 flight, here are the 5 teams:
2 Blacks (M/F)
A couple with an asian (M/F)
A couple (M/F)
Blondes (F/F)

Don't know about the other 3/4 teams..

according this info and other info about spotted 2 M-M teams,our 2 or 3 teams emilinated at Indnesia should be in :
one M-M team(not sure which team)
Hawaii girls

This morning, my friend from Kaskus (kotakcokelat) spotted them at Jogja airport buying that 13.45 flight, here are the 5 teams:
2 Blacks (M/F)
A couple with an asian (M/F)
A couple (M/F)
Blondes (F/F)

Don't know about the other 3/4 teams..

But I agree with weihen, signs are pointing towards the brunette girls and the older couple being eliminiated already.

hi guys i'm new to the blog. i just wanna say great work so far on all the spoilers im really imoressed 

i just wanted to give my idea, judgin from the flights out of bangkok, we've visited bangkok and phuket in TAR14 si i dont think we will be going there any time soon. but chiang mai is possible as well even though weve been there before there are plenty of locations and challenges that TAR could do there. however, there are the flights out of sri lanka. in my opinion there is no way the race is leaving asia already for another continent so sri lanka is a great possibility. we havent done much there when we visited sri lanka in TAR6 and there are great cultural/mental/physical challenges that we could do there plus the weather, congested streets and population density could make the challnges more exciting!! 
so there is that flight to colombo from bangkok which is possible

then based on the leg (s) in sri lanka if we have two legs there after i think we will move onto a new continent
OR
if we spend one leg there i think we will visit one more country in asia (possibly nepal ) and THEN move onto another continent :-)

Just a thought, but historically, how much effort have the organisers gone to to avoid monsoons and other such predictable bad weather?

So has India mainly been avoided in the summer races for example?

If they do actively avoid it, then we can rule out places like Mumbai etc. as the next stop..

SPECULATION: So assume weihen is right and the safe couple is that one with the blonde female. Here is who is unaccounted for:

middle aged couple
Ethan and Jenna
Hawaii girls
blue male team
Sunderlands
surfers

Three of these teams are gone and three are still racing but probably behind the top five on flights.

5 teams on flight refer to the flight jogia to jakarta,then we still don't know if all 8/9 remaining teams on same flight to Bangkok.

The next batch of teams may have been able to make GA 209 arriving at 14.20. This would have allowed them to make the QZ 7716 which did not depart until 16.35 so all 8 active teams could have arrived in Bangkok at the same time (20.00)

I'm a little confused by that sighting because FD3031 departed BKK at 19.00 and teams could not arrive until 20.00

Did I miss something? Hopefully he can ID the team he saw.
