The ES also depends on where the finish line will be. I suspect a closer-to-east coast finish, and an European ES might be more direct for production to the final city than Thailand. And if teams do head to Africa (or Europe or South America or the middle east) after leg 3, then that would also make a European ES more sensible. (I think this is what Peach is suggesting with her suggestion.)

Yep, exactly. My vote is Portugal again.

Hey guys, the internet here is sucky and I can't access any of the tweets. I heard CutePoison saying "greeter for Leg 3" on the sightings thread, is that at Borobodur or was it from central Yogyakarta (which would make it Pit Stop Leg 2?

Because if Phil is filming stand-ups at Borobodur without a greeter, I'd say Leg 3 would take them east to Bali. After that we won't see the teams for a day or so while Phil runs off to get a headstart.

Will format this nicely in the timeline thread when I get better internet, but it's looking like:
18: Los Angeles
19: Lost to Intl Date Line
20: Taipei
21: Phil's Yogyakarta
22: Teams' Yogyakarta
23: Both Phil and Teams in Indonesia (need you guys to confirm this?)
24: Phil's Leg 4
25: Teams' Leg 4

If there is no Pit Stop at Borobodur, I'm going to say onward travel to Bali looks likely to me.

I'm confused as well. I know that Leg 1 was Taipei and Leg 2 was Jogja. So was Leg 3 the Borobudor and other locations on Java? If so then now they are on pitstop for that one and getting ready for leg 4 which is not in Indonesia?  :duno:

I believe they are much more likely to fly.

If there are flights available, production usually schedules Phil out a.s.a.p., and then adjust the rest period so that Racers aren't on Phil's connecting flight to the next destination. That practice is becoming very clear as the 12-hour standard pit stop fell by the wayside in the past few seasons.

Can it be tentatively say that Karl and Kay were not eliminated based on these great photos from B@M?

I was thinking that since they made the other couple go back or something after these two arrived together here that K/K is safe b/c if these were the last two they would not have to go back.

Well it doesn't mean anyone else did. But if the green team did they were not last upon their first arrival correct? Only makes sense, so K/K arrived probably seconds before them and were safe.

Most likely, a team forgot to get a clue, or lost a clue along the way, or didn't follow a clue instruction that they can remedy as oppose to waiting out a penalty. Since the description implies the team wasn't waiting nearby to be checked in, it isn't a definite 30 minute or more penalty; so it would seem to be one of those three possibilities.

Cool! Jo-burg! South Africa was top of my wishlist, so I will be very pleased if this is the case!
If so,I guess Zambia may be 5th leg for 10th year anniversary, like"make your way to the 1st pitstop of amazing race history..."

Songwe Village would be awesome, and the giant swing that teams had to ride in one of the Detours.

Even better would be a Switchback of the first Roadblock in TAR history.

This is all speculation, of course

Lesotho or Swaziland is possible from Johannesburg too.  Usually every time the Race visits Africa they usually add a new country there.
TAR1 (South Africa, Zambia, Tunisia)
TAR2 (Namibia)
TAR3 (Morocco)
TAR5 (Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania)
TAR6 (Senegal, Ethiopia)
TAR7 (Botswana)
TAR10 (Mauritius, Madagascar)
TAR11 (Mozambique)
TAR12 (Burkina Faso)
TAR16 (Seychelles)
TAR17 (Ghana)
-See my point.

I just found out that TAR was coming to Indonesia (Jogja) because I received email from my friend, who sent his/her photo with Phil Keoghan. They had just arrived in Jakarta, and they said that they're on the same plane with Phil.

I don't know which plane that they and Phil took. And I don't know where the next destination is, whether it's still in Indonesia or going overseas.

Maybe they are just getting a clue or doing half the leg in Bali, then flying out. Bali does have a bigger airport.

@KellyJohnson122 not really sure, i cant get near them, but i overheard them mentioned bangkok, if i'm not mistaken, i took 1 blur pic

Possibly Bangkok! Again!

Isn't adjisupto airport in Jogja?

If I had to guess, I'd say Bangkok is a connection point to somewhere else in Asia/Africa/Middle East.

Bangkok does have a lot of connections. I am still thinking they will stay in Asia, though.
