Fans will have to wait until Sunday, September 25 to see the premiere of The Amazing Race 19, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty happening already. Taping of Season 19 has finished, and astute fans across the world are already comparing notes on racer sightings. CBS may not be sharing the cast list yet, but fan forums think they have it figured out already. Scottsdale fans who love to stay a step ahead of the official information will want to keep reading to see what the latest details are for a big season with some familiar faces.

According to the fans at Survivor Sucks and the Reality Fan Forums, Season 19 of The Amazing Race will be an exciting one to watch. Some dedicated spoiler fans have compiled plenty of information, and posters such as Tullfan3 and Bull Halsey have done a great job of summarizing the key details. According to Amazing Race spoilers, the cast for Season 19 includes:

Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca from Survivor
Laurence and Zac Sunderland – Zac claims to be the youngest person to sail around the world, and many fans remember his sister Abby’s attempt as well.
Andy Finch and Tommy Czeschin – friends and former Olympian snowboarders
Cathy and Bill Alden – an older couple from Albany, Oregon
Cindy Chiang and Ernie Halvorsen – a young couple
Jeremy Cline and Sandy Draghi – a young couple
Justin and Jennifer Young – African American pair, siblings, Justin is a doctor
Lisa Tilley and Kaylani Paliotta – female team, believed to be Hawaiian
Marcus and Amani Pollard – African American, married team, Marcus is a former NFL player
Marie and Elizabeth Canavan – sisters
Ron Zeitz and Bill Smith – a male couple in their 40s, work for American Airlines

'Survivor' winners Ethan and Jenna head up new 'Amazing Race' cast. Plus: New twists revealed! -- EXCLUSIVEby Dalton Ross

The Amazing Race has not been shy about having former CBS reality stars on the show. Boston Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich of Survivor fame played twice, while Big Brother‘s Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, as well as Alison Irwin (and her non-Big Brother boyfriend Donny) all have appeared on the program. But now, for the first time, two winners will team up to compete as Survivor: Africa champ Ethan Zohn and Survivor: The Amazon victor Jenna Morasca head up the cast for the show’s 19th installment (premiering Sept. 25 on CBS), which will also feature some new twists to the game.

For Zohn, racing across the world with his longtime girlfriend is especially sweet considering his recent medical battles after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. “Last year I was attached to a pump in complete isolation in a f—ing hospital room, and now I’m out traveling the world with the woman I love. Whatever happens, it’s gonna be okay,” Ethan told EW.com just before embarking on the race. “But if she screws up, I’m gonna kill her.”

Among the 10 other teams joining the longtime Survivor couple will be Zac Sunderland — who, at 16, became the youngest person to sail around the world alone — and his dad Laurence, former NFL tight end Marcus Pollard and his wife Amani, and Olympic snowboarders Andy Finch and Tommy Czeschin. (A full list of teams is below.) The duos will experience a few new twists this time around, including the show’s first ever double elimination, and something called the Hazard, which is a penalty that one team will incur right at the starting line. And for the first time ever, The Amazing Race will be visiting the countries of Belgium, Denmark, Malawi, and Indonesia.

Seeing as how Ethan and Jenna both won their seasons of Survivor, which one of them will get to make the big decisions on the race? “We actually made a list of things that each of us is good at and not good at,” Jenna says. “I’m surprisingly more nervous than Ethan so I told him unless it’s a horseback riding, pole dancing, circus, animal, or shopping challenge, that he’s doing the first Roadblock.” But don’t be surprised if nice guy Ethan and his less-helpful partner have their differences along the way. Witness this one exchange:
Ethan: “I played Survivor different than Jenna played Survivor. And if Jenna wants to stab someone in the back and do something evil and mean, it’s going to be tough for me to do that. I’m okay with helping someone fix their flat tire.”

Jenna: “That’s not gonna happen.”

Ethan: “I’m okay giving people food.”

Jenna: “That’s not gonna happen. If we’re racing for first place and the person in front of us has a flat tire, I’m probably going to pass you by without a second thought. I mean, I’m not going to run them over in the process to make sure they’re never going to get up. I’ll safely pass, with my flashers on.”

Here's some expanded info from the official release:

Quote
This season, the multi-Emmy Award-winning series sends 11 new Teams on a Race around the globe, making first time visits to exotic locations such as Indonesia, Malawi, Belgium and Denmark.  Along the way, Teams will travel through four continents and 20 cities and cover nearly 40,000 miles.

Teams will be tested early and often and met with a new penalty called the "Hazard," which will impact one Team's future on the Race right from the starting line.  The global journey sets off from the foothills of Southern California where the Teams' problem solving abilities will be put to the test as they search for clues to their first destination, Taipei, Taiwan. Teams fortunate enough to survive the first leg will find themselves amidst an 8th Century Buddhist temple in Indonesia, riding elephants through the rain forests of Thailand, and racing for their lives when they discover they're facing the series first ever Double Elimination.
Physics alone is not enough.

Those who forget history are sure to repeat it.

So did anybody watch Big Brother?! They had a promo! I came on here hoping somebody had caught it too and made some screen caps or something! I jumped up from the couch when it came on. It went by quick, but all I remember was someone bungee jumping from what looked like the inside of a mall or in between some tall buildings or something. Haha sorry, not quite sure on the location but I know I DID see someone bungee jumping! Hopefully someone else caught it!  :duno:

My cable channel program guide now lists episode 2 for October 2nd, and confirms Indonesia for the second leg....but no episode title yet. (It's now showing the episode 1 title, so they are updating what they get from CBS. CBS hasn't posted the schedule for that Sunday yet on its website, looks like that might happen on Monday.
