Episode 2.

Warning: Severe coarse language.

Why do you insinuate every male contestant is gay?

Also- You've put far too much emphasis on the use of the words bugger and buggery.

The actual definition of "buggery" is a certain sexual act most commonly partaken in by gay men. Given the slash-y subplot running through the recaps (which I wasn't planning on when I started), it seemed only fitting to take Tom's usage of it literally.

Luke is straight, if I remember, he said in one confessional he has a son...

I know. They're both straight. But the homoerotic subtext much of their interaction seems to take -- as well as some of the things Tom has said to Matt -- makes the jokes inevitable.

Episode 7. A placeholder is up for Episode 8 and I'll be doing it when I get free time in the middle of the other episodes so I can get caught up.

Better late than never (unless you're racing).

Episode 8.

Probably not for a month or two. I was getting close to done with the first Israel leg when my laptop's charger cord snapped. Like, beyond the point of repair. So until (1) I can afford to buy a new charger and (2) it is delivered, I'm without a computer capable of playing the vids for me to recap.

That said, the moment the cord is delivered, it's the first thing I'll be doing. I need to get this season done by the time the next one starts lol.

And please don't assume all the male contestants are gay. I'm sure Tyler has knocked up Sam by now and Matt & Mel are between the sheets.

I have never claimed to offer 100% factual recaps. My job is to mock both the events that are happening, and the general subtext. I cannot help it if the interactions between Luke and (especially) Tom have undertones that are not entirely heterosexual. If you're going to get offended by my calling a spade a shovel, don't read. Simple as that.

Not quite a show recap, but still: Season 2 team bio recap.

Now that you mentioned it, I can only think of one time out of all those versions when the show wasn't hiding the fact that a person was homosexual, and that's Alon from Hamerotz LaMillion 2.

But yeah I'm not really feeling this season's cast yet either.

Wow you're so cynical tarflyonthewall but I love it! I hope you've got it wrong though and this season brings much more drama. I can sense Paul & Steve rubbing teams the wrong way from the get-go and probably getting u-turned a lot but always surviving.
