Ha! YES! I finally have found it! HaMerotz LaMillion's starting line!

(Picture of it in case you don't know or remember)

That is clearly not Ben-Gurion Airport as Wikipedia most incorrectly states. No, it is actually this place, Avenue/Avenue Hall/Avenue Convention Center/Avenue L (I don't know what it's actually called since there isn't much info on the place online in English) in "Airport City", which is about 3 miles east southeast of the airport.

I've placed my point at 31°59'9.82"N  34°54'56.66"E. Time to find the finish line.

O:

Nice find! Everyone thought it was BG Airport because Raz introduces himself and says "This is BG Airport", and teams are basically shown walking through a door directly to the departure gates.

Cool! I'll update...well, ALL the things I guess. lol.

Finally, after a brief 2-and-a-half months, I've finished Race 8.  Sorry, had a number of disruptions lately!  The big post on page 3 is updated with the links.

One thing I've began to notice with this race is leg departures that were significantly displaced from the previous pitstop without any acknowlegement of such, specifically in Panama.  So I've began to make note of them.

I hope to get Race 9 done by the end of the year, if the holidays don't interfere too much.
We can put a man on the moon, so why can't we have a Fast Forward in every leg?

At long last, with the help of sveped, I have finally completed my KMZ of TAR Norge 2. Thanks for the hard work, bud!

Note: I basically guessed for the Iguazu Falls, Argentina locations, as I couldn't find any of the places they went to. If anyone would like to help clean those up, please feel free to lend a hand!!

Great going, GB!

I'm trying to fill in a couple of the gaps - can anyone figure out where is the "gypsy camp" in Romania in TAR 14?

ETA: Should have looked five minutes longer! It's here! (Got thrown off by the different colour paint. It's been 6 years already!)

With help from OvalOrange and Slowhatch, here're the locations from the two Moroccan legs! (The only thing missing is the teaware shop, which doesn't seem to be the El Bahja Souk.)

Sure about the pottery! It's "15km in the direction of Tameslouht," and matches up with several visuals, including http://this one Slowhatch found.

Working backwards for the earlier seasons: can anyone figure out the kiwi farm in TAR 13.4? There are crates in the background that say Trevelyan's but I can't find the roads they're on, even with Street View!

(Note: No lane markings, power line on left]

It looks like it might be a part of Albert Hall/Museum. Move the camera around here to see if there's a matching viewpoint.

Are there any plans to at least merge the US TAR Google Earth Map files into one file?

As to other editions, I'd wouldn't mind one file per version (merging all the season files of each version), but at a minimum I'd would love to have TAR US as one file to download.

Great work GB!

I've got a few updates, especially for the earlier seasons (only worked back to TAR 12 for now)! Among them:
- The gold-mining and dancing village in Burkina Faso in TAR 12
- The auto-rickshaw yard in Delhi, chicken farm in Kazakhstan, and military camp in Moscow in TAR 13
- The boatyard in Bangkok and swimming pool in Beijing in TAR 14
- The dynamite testing grounds in Sweden in TAR 15
- The farm in Puerto Varas and the bull-lasso restaurant in Bariloche in TAR 16
- The antenna/coffin Detour in Accra and water-pumping station in Oman in TAR 17
- The Detour village on Lake Malawi in TAR 19
- The cattle corral in Buenos Aires in TAR 20
- The rafting locations in Sabah in TAR 24

Hope this helps!
