Hmm..I have a feeling that Zev/Justin weren't victims of the W-Turn. I'm assuming Justin is frustrated, but my guess would just be because it isn't tasty. I don't think that Z/J were W-Turned by Kisha/Jen because they seem to be close on Twitter. This is probably all just wishful thinking from a Z/J fan though.

Well if the Cowboys and  the Goths are U-Turned, I think we know who will win the other side of the detour (( Cowboys likely :neener: )) but it depends who is U-Turned 1st.

I think either Goths, Cowboys, or Gary and Mallory are eliminated.

Zev and Justin are just  :duno: until we get another preview.

Gary and Mallory will most likely not be eliminated if they are not U-Turned.

Probably - They would have to SCREW UP badly to get eliminated without the U-turn. But it also depends what the Speed Bump is?

Yes, the difficulty level of the Speed Bump is also a factor.

Hopefully, the Speed Bump won't be too difficult! I really hope Gary/Mal make it through this leg.

Isn't fondue supposed to be really hot??? If this is another time-framed eating challenge, I guess it would be a big problem for the teams to finish it without burning your tongues...

It's not the food, cheese fondue is delicious. I'd say they also have to drink something like this:

Which is good too, but if you are not used to strong alcohol, it is really... mm... strong.

Hopefully the drinking part is after the driving part!!   :colors

It would be socially irresponsible of TAR to have the racers drink alcohol and then get on mopeds to drive around Lichtenstein.

I will speculate Roadblock ==> Detour(s) ==> PitStop.

So, the alcohol shouldn't come before the moped task, which makes me believe the measuring task is a Route Info. It makes more sense to send both team mates from one side of Liechtenstein to the other and then continue racing, rather than making one team member go two-ways and then have them go again.
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

Neobie has already laid out the order of things for this week. I see your point, Dan but a roadblock after the W-turn like it should be would be late at night.

It looks like, to me:
Pit Start at Salzburg, before 6.00am
Train from Salzburg to Feldkirch, around 6.30am
Taxi from Feldkirch to Liechtenstein, around 10.00am
Roadblock at Liechtenstein: Moped measurement, around 10.30am
Taxi (or, a smaller possibility, bus) from Liechtenstein to Sargans, around 11.30am
Train from Sargans to Zermatt, around 12.00pm
Detour at Zermatt: Luggage or Fondue (Cheesy Costumes or Cheesy Cuisine - just a joking guess), around 6.00pm
Pit Stop at Zermatt, around 7.30pm
Physics alone is not enough.

Neobie is correct, of course!!

The RB is the Liechtenstein portion (moped task), so the Speedbump will be there too>>followed by train to Zermatt>>Detours (thanks Neobie!!) >>Pitstop (location to be determined).

Glacier tasks are for next week.

This looks like a very sad leg to be U-turned on.... not much time to play catch up.  :'(

I think the Speed Bump would really not be that difficult like Roadblock or Detours, I mean think about those speed bumps last seasons like sitting on ice, washing tanks, staying in sauna etc. Those speed bumps are not like solving puzzles, they're just tasks that can be finish in an average or fixed time.

But i'm really worried about G/M's position,,, I'm rooting for them...  :'(

I also speculate the Trotters u-turning K/V since the goths were the cause of them being U-turn by cheerleaders in China... It would also be interesting if they U-turn them right in front of their faces!  :ascared
I wanna rip a TAR clue envelope someday, =)

It is possible that the other teammate rides along in the camera van or is transported to the end of the RB by other means. Then both teammates would be close (~2-3 miles) to the railroad station in Sargans. TPTB could also tell the teams to run/walk to the train station.

I have always assumed that the moped RB would end at one of those two bridges across the Rhine, SW of Balzers, for the HD cameras. If on the other hand if TPTB were in stealth mode, there is an isolated land crossing back into Switzerland SE of Balzers. This would take teams to the town of Bad Ragaz, which just happens to be a stop on that Chur-Zurich train that Kisha/Jen were seen on.

Seems like in the past, the Speedbump has essentially been a 20-40 minute time penalty (depending on the given leg) that's essentially a fixed duration rather than something that a Racer has much control over how long it will take, and serve as a bonus chance to show local scenery or culture without being a huge expense to Production.

Well, if that's the case, then other teams may get bunched up for Gary/Mallory to finish the speedbump and catch the same train to Zermatt.  That would make sense for the W-turn since it will be everyone's game again in Zermatt and no unfair advantage to Gary/Mallory. It will depend on who finish the detour first and then find the W-turn mat.

I also think that Zev/Justin may get U-turned for the fact that they do a food task after all the Vienna experience.

I think they're having the fondue at

http://www.walliserkanne.ch/walliserkanne_zermatt_restaurant_en.htm

in the Rustic room there based on comparing

with

one of their 360 views:

Two photos by people of the fondue pot at the restaurant for comparison purposes.

I know knowing the restaurant and its location doesn't help with figuring out the order of anything, but can't hurt either. :)

---

I am way too new to officially welcome you, doedoe, but welcome!  This is one of the nicest boards I've ever been to!

I see that the W-Turn question has been answered already.

---
I am feeling pretty good for Justin and Zev not being U-Turned mainly because they're not wearing the uniforms that the Cowboys are wearing.   Hopefully there's a new promo soon!
