Leg 2 starts.

RI: Make your way by bus to Bantay Bell Tower in Vigan Ilocos Sur. (12 hour bus ride from last pit stop)
*Hours of Operation, Mark and Kat used Salvage Pass for 30 minute advantage.
Detour: Nguya o Gawa (Chew or Work?). In Chew, teams have to eat 70 longganisa. In work, teams have to make 2? Dozen longganisa. Once their done they will receive next clue.
RI: Make your way to Pagburnayan District to find their next clue.
INTERSECTION: Both teams need to transport clay pots using a wagon with horse to Calle Crisologo. If they break more than 5 pots, teams will receive time penalty for every broken pot.

The detour looks easy but it very hard imo. 70 longganisa is very crazy. I only need 2 longganisa with rice to have a full lunch or dinner. Im not sure how hard to make longganisa but it seems that the eating task is much faster than the work task.

Wow. That map for leg 1 looks crazy. They were closer to the pitstop after the BINGO route info... why couldn't they have switched the order so that the last two teams didn't have to run into "rain problems"?

Same as Leg 2. Vigan-Bantay-Vigan. Too expensive for the producers.

i was in vigan last month and the bell tower is not that far from the market. probably it was just a 5-10min ride

Bad boot list is starting already.

Dani and Mish is one of the most unluckiest team i ever know,

In 1 Super leg they got,
-lost their way to clark
-yielded
-received 20 minutes time penalty for asking dayal the roadblock question
-most attempt at the free fall roadblock (11 or 12 attempt)
-is it dani or mish who got a broken finger from one task
-got uturned on the 2nd part of the leg
-received 4 hours penalty from the roadblock after 3 attempts and its starting to rain.
-never able to catch up
-eliminated  :'(

All in just 1 super leg. :(

What's a bombshell?
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

Unlucky? I think not as Dani became a b!tch from leg 1 itself & "attracted" a lot of unwanted attention from other teams - if I'm one of the other teams, surely she'll be the target for u-turns, yields, etc - why would I have to listen to her b!tching during the break?

It was Mish who got "hammered" - both literally & figuratively! I pity her BUT Dani, being a former Ms. Philippines 2008 (after a default!), really showed her true colours! What childish tantrums! She takes the cake from Flo (of Team Flo & Zach), hands down!

Kat went ballastics after the tree-top challenge & the late usage of the express pass but she was ok at the next leg BUT Dani's a loss cause - GOOD RIDDANCE!

What's a bombshell?

According to http://www.thefreedictionary.com/bombshell , it means either

1. An explosive bomb, or
2. One that is sensationally shocking, surprising, or amazing, or
3. One who is very attractive.

For Mish, it's no.3 BUT Dani's a No. 2!

well Dani is bitchy but she gave quite entertainment imo. first few legs, she is ok with her "childish tantrums", but i hated her when she started bitching Mish. Dani is the "more filipino" one right? she should have been the better one than Mish.

Wtf Mark and Kat already won 1 million pesos in total, which is half of the grand prize by winning 5 out of 7 legs and there is still more legs to come. They dont even need to win the whole race.

2 million Philippine peso = 48,780 US dollars.

A decent editor in Wikipedia said that TARPh was filmed between late April to June 2012.

Quote
The Amazing Race Philippines 1
The Amazing Race Philippines logo
Season run    October 29, 2012
– Present
Filming dates    April 2012
– June 2012
No. of episodes    30 + 5 marathon episode (as of December 2, 2012)
Provinces visited    9
Cities visited    18
No. of legs    9 (as of November 27, 2012)

The actual filming of TARPh was in the entire month of June 2012 and the filming date in Wikipedia is wrong.

Quote
“Race safe, race hard, race fast,” the host, Kapatid hunk Derek Ramsay, tells the 10 teams of two Filipino citizens/Philippine residents who were chosen from a series of auditions last summer and took part in a race that took them across the archipelago from late April through June.

I find that filipinos spin off of American editions of the show usually ruin the original version.

They have just too many twists and drama and it ruins the show.

I mean, people don't want to watch from Monday to Sunday at primetime 9pm to watch The Amazing Race. Normally people are only interested in the results. Maybe a 2 hour episode... BUT MONDAY TO SATURDAY PLUS A SUNDAY MARATHON IS CRAZY.

It's sad... because the show seemed to be so lame.

I went wiki to do a check and they went to Mactan Cebu to wash hair??? AT A SALON??? There's so many things to do in Cebu and they chose to WASH HAIR?

No wonder the ratings of the show has only been going downhill.

Actually the show's rating has been going up. Checking wiki the show started with 5.1% and now averages at around 6-7%. It also rated 9.9% last Friday... (Counting Metro Manila only)

Have you watched an episode, or is this purely from after reading the Wiki?

I don't know how you could say those things. :o

(I actually am enjoying it more than the current TAR21...)

Yah im enjoying it more than tar21 too. And the leg with that washing hair (actually hair styling) is an intersection. And for me its one of the best episode so far. The constant place shifting this leg is good. The detour is a very good one imo. Watch it and you will see what i mean about this leg in cebu. Well yeah, the task are nothing to do much of cebus but its kinda good for me.

If the f3 turns out to be Sheena/Gee, LJ/CJ, and Saida/Jervi. Will it be considered a TAR first, for an all female team in the final 3 even Jervi is a gay.  :lol3:

The three girl team are not doing so well through out the race but i dont want F/D to be part of f3. M/K already have 1 mill so its not even bad for not winning. And

Boom doing 7 roadblock so far.. Wtf, so no rules about roadblock huh,

Leg 11 and still no Mindanao leg :cmas18

Palawan is a great location but we badly need a Mindanao leg. I believe all challenges are in there.

Performance wise, should i say our f3 deserves to be there? Mark qnd kat and fausto and dayal both placed well and lj/cj would be the best performing f/f?

Entertaining wise, first half of the whole race, they are all duh. But kat's meltdown and dayal's delusiveness started to grow on me..

Whats your thought on our f3?
