Were they giving us clues for the next episode? Those street scenes look a lot like the RB location. But maybe all those streets just look the same.

If someone could identify the bridge here maybe we could place the ghat.

~~Its the bridge on the north side of Varanasi.......there are only 3 bridges........two like that one and the pontoon bridge at the other end of town......south side of town.~~

I thought it was the Malviya/kashi Bridge on Rt2 in Varanasi......but it is obvously not, as you have a photo of it below.

You mean the highway 36 bridge? The highway 98 bridge does not look like that at all and neither does the railroad bridge. I can't find any pics of the 36 bridge to the north but that has to be it.

It doesn't look like there are any places for ghats around there though....

Of course , but they were both seen in a matter of seconds in the ep 6 Detour Intro.

I think we've also found editors who have having fun with the raw footage from both India legs.

So we have images of at least three holy men between the preview footage and the intro footage.

What I found interesting is that the suspension bridge is in the newest design that only has been built in a handful of places around the world. We first saw that design during TAR 9 in Greece, at night, btw.

I agree. I think those two caps are very much likely to be from Varanasi mainly because of the use of Hindi. In Kolkata, you would expect mostly Bengali and English. Signs in Hindi would be rare. I also thought Christina speaking a little Hindi last episode was not necessary. They're just as likely to know your basic English greetings and what not as Hindi ones in West Bengal.

Just a comment on the poo thing... I am not sure it's a FF because Jen was in dark colored pants with a light colored top 3/4 sleeve top. Kisha had on shorts or capri's with a dark blue short sleeve top. But there is a shot of someone in light colored pants (Khaki or cream), rolled up long sleeve blue shirt and their skin looks to be white.

I don't think it's a RB either because both Kisha and Jen are seen doing it. I vote for detour option.
