Yes, that's the one I was referring to, peach. I had the other photo in there to compare the light out the window. I didn't repeat the other one because Chateau had it right below.

Could it be the Alipore Zoological Garden, Kolkata?
Peach, what did you think about her find? It looks pretty dead on to me.

This thing is probably Ganesha's rat:

And we finally got a good pic of the school bus. Maybe this will help with finding the school. Anyone read Hindu?

Ganesha is usually depicted with a rat/mouse/shrew. The purposes of this creature seem to be varied as well. Here's one example:
Quote
The vehicle of Ganesha is a rat or mouse. As rats generally succeed in gnawing their way through every obstruction, the rat symbolizes this god's ability to destroy every obstacle. Being an elephant he passes through the thickest of wild growth in a forest, uproots and tears to smithereens the thickest trees hindering his path and fells out whatever comes in his way. While drilling holes like a mouse he can also slip through the narrowest of spaces and thickest of the walls. Moreover, the mouse is deemed to be the master of inside everything. The all-pervading Atman (soul) is the mouse that lives in the hole called Intellect, within the heart of every being. It hides itself behind the inscrutable shape of illusion.

Thanks caper!! That is so close and could be...

But I am going to stay with the obvious and think that this could still be the Town Hall. Although I have looked for hours and can't find a exact photo of this...I did find this other shot of a different side. I think perhaps this could be a side entrance... the fences look similar.

generic photo:

race photo:

Note the red striped thingy too, although those could perhaps not be permanent fixtures...

Also, while Luke is there by himself, there are many cups of tea gone from the table.

Here's a comparison to those same windows:

There are two long sides to the room that the Road Block is in and they are importantly different.  One side has closed solid doors while the other has some glass windows or doors.  Compare to the snippet below that I took from the Town Hall link.

The shot with sad Luke has glass doors or windows that let the daylight come through.  The shot with lots of racers and lots of tea cups is taken against the side with solid doors.

You mean G/M being in first and the whole Snapple thing.  I want one million rupees!

I have sound now, maybe they weren't properly loaded at first. They don't even have thumbnails. Maybe this whole thing is another one of their weekend mistakes.

I spoke to someone on-site during the Kolkata leg, and that person shared two pieces of info with us. The first was posted previously, and that was that Gary-Mallory won this leg. The second is that the eliminated team was the deaf son and his mother, i.e Margie and Luke.

Thank you kinibug!!  You did a wonderful job getting and confirming this, and now....we have first to last in less than a minute!!

I do feel for Luke though...he has always felt strongly that he was there not only for himself, but to represent the deaf community. I hope he believes that he did his best, and that is all anyone can do!!
