Also

- TAR 24 when the Globetrotters joked about the Beakman boys carrying their luggage around on wheels.
- TAR 25 leg 1 when they talked about all three teams taking the penalty, it flashed back to 22

Also how did they get pictures for the U Turns in TAR 29? Did they do a quick photoshoot between the schoolyard pick and when they left for Panama?

Yup, they're the same photos as their official team picture which was taken at the Starting Line.

Do teams talk to their camera and sound guys, I guess aside from interviews?

Or are they supposed to pretend that they do not exist at all?

No, I think teams interact with their camera crew quite a bit.  IIRC the reason for changing teams' camera crew each Leg was because in the earlier seasons, teams were getting very close with their crews, and they wanted to prevent that happening?  ???  I could be wrong though?

Does anyone know where I can watch past seasons of TAR?

I had the last 3 on my DVR (it crashed).
I have CBS All Access (can't find anything but clips there).
Searched on line (no luck).

Thanks!

Does Amazon Prime still have them?

Only until TAR25. :(

Hulu has 1-27 but no 28 and 29.

May have something to do with this:

http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,33250.0.html

It's bizarre though. You would think CBS keeps it up.

Oh well, hopefully the potential influx of viewers for 30 makes them put it back up.

What would of happened if Nancy and Emily completed the detour properly.

Would of they made the final 3?

I think they would have for sure made the final three, even potentially winning. I remember Nancy pointing out a bus stop to Emily while they were searching for the private car and asking if she was sure they didn't want to take the bus and I was so frustrated Emily didn't go for it. They were my favorite team.

Since Joe & Bill won the Fast Forward, Nancy & Emily still would have had theirs and could have used it to catch up on the next leg. It definitely would have ensured Kevin & Drew would be the next team eliminated, and depending on hours of operation, Nancy & Emily may have been able to place first on the next leg or at least pulled close to Frank & Margarita and Rob & Brennan.

Weren't Joe & Bill and Kevin & Drew already almost a day behind when they were battling it out for the 3rd spot in China? I forget the whole timeline of how that happened, but if Nancy & Emily didn't screw up their flights as well, definitely.

Just curious about this. The winning team gets $1 million which obviously works out to $500K apiece. A friend told me a $500K prize is about $230K after Fed taxes. And it's down to about $200K after state & local taxes, legal fees, etc. (Still a very nice payday for about a month's worth of work!)

Does that sound about right? Thanks!

At least we didn't wait until season 10 to see first F/F team in F3

Does anyone remember which legs were filmed while it's raining? It can be either it started to rain in the middle of the leg or it was raining since the beginning until the Pit Stop.

Off the top of my head, I can think of 1 ... All Stars S11 in Macau.

By coincidence, I was just watching TAR China Rush 1 Episode 10 (in Yunnan), where it literally rained for the entire leg. Hard.

Also TAR3 Leg 11 in Cai Be. One of the heaviest downpours ever seen on the race besides Burkina Faso.

It definitely rained in TAR 6 leg 2, which made the rollerskiing that much harder.

Wasn't also raining on the New York part of the final leg from TAR10?

Does look like it but not much though. At the start of S10 it was raining as well.

It rained somewhat on the latter half of the Kingston, Ontario leg of TAR Canada 4, forcing the audience dressed in period clothing to move inside.

It was also raining a lot in Montreal on TAR Canada 2, making it somewhat difficult to do the stunt driving challenge.

Yeah, I remember the latter for raining the whole time. Everyone had an extremely difficult time with that Roadblock, including the professional stunt actor. The wet tarmac made for poor traction for the maneuvers they had to do.
