Thanks Chateau~!!

Now...why are they there??

It's right near where the ferry docks, so I would guess they are on their way to the Town Hall for the rest point.

edit: I'm quite sure that she is but also some other book

From this:

The Amazing Race is in Broken Hill NSW (Australia) today. They had to get a clue from the Memorial Oval , dress as Kangaroos with big bouncy shoes and bounce to my street (Mercury Street) for their next clue. Then they were off to the Junction Mine in their Four Wheel Drives. So funny seeing them bounce around dressed as Kangaroos. Does anyone know when this new Season will be aired??

I think we can assume that when teams are driving themselves in kangaroo suits they are on their way to the PS.
Also from spoiler info no taxi shots are in the Outback.

In pictures 9-11: it looks like Justin is giving Jen a high five. Maybe they worked together?

In pictures 32-34: Jet and Cord are smiling and Jet is holding a Route Info clue. Looks like they're running to the pit stop. I think the ghost riders are back in the saddle again! :mechbull:

And  :lol3: Zev. "Ow!" "What?" "I slammed my tail in the door!"

Wow. I just pointed out the most obvious things... :lol3:

Well is there any idea of where everyone checks in, in order?

I would imagine that Kent and Vixen and probably Jet and Cord will be Team #9 and Team #10 considering they were so far back.

Based on a sighting in Sydney this is the speculated order

1. Zev/Justin
2. Herb/Nate
3. Jet/Cord
4. Margie/Luke
5. LaKisha/Jen
6. Mel and Mike
7. Kent/Vyxsin
8. Jamie/Cara
9. Gary/Mallory
10. Ron/Christina
Amanda/Kris eliminated

Please note that the START line order does NOT equal the elim order, what is listed as safe from elim is NOT in order. sorry brain fart

And we KNOW the PitStop is at Junction  mine, we have the photo with the MAT even.

MAPS will be in post 4 in this thread.

No, in the timeline, woden lists the teams leaving in a certain order from the Pit Start at the train station. I'm not using the safe from elim order.

And the woman at the station saw them open the clues in order.

Here weihen mentions the friend who was waiting for the teams at the train station where they arrived before they left for Tokyo:

My friend in Sydeny told me now she is in Sydney train station, she saw teams waiting here, and they had to wait 2hrs then go to airport.

And here she specifically lists the order:

Let's not jump to conclusions yet...

She said she saw teams open clue one by one to start 2nd leg...

the order teams open clue:

1st:Zev and Justin
2nd:Flight time and Big easy
3th:cowboy
4th:Margie and Luke
5th:Kisha and Jen
6th:Mel and Mike
7th:Goth
8th:Jamie and Cara
9th:Gary and Mallory
10th:Ron and Chris

That's all I know. I think woden is sourcing from that post too.

I don't have any idea in what order teams checked in at the mat  :duno:

It just doesn't seem like the teams would be released in a random order. I'll clarify that as speculation though.

Peach......remember that after the teams hit the mat in Broken Hill........they got on the train to Sydney.....and after the over night rolling pit stop....they were released in the train station in downtown Sydney from the pit stop.  I think it is safe to assume that the order of release in Sydney reflects the order of finish in Broken Hill......unless a team or two got a penalty time wise.

I was thinking the high 5 was because they both made the first :plane: to the Outback.  They are the first 2 names list on the 6 am flight list.

CBS took the pic, it is from the promo. Peach did the screencaps.

I wonder who had the flat on their SUV......that will be fun to see.

I was thinking the high 5 was because they both made the first :plane: to the Outback.  They are the first 2 names list on the 6 am flight list.

I am curious on this point: Why didn't the first-at-pseudo-pit stop teams (Gary/Mallory, Amanda/Kris, LaKisha/Jen) get on the 10/22 Regional Express flight departing Sydney 1820 and arriving Broken Hill 2010? The only explanations could be that the flights were full, World Race Productions gave speecific directions on which flight or teams had to do tasks in Sydney that lasted too long to make that flight. The third makes the most sense. It is clear from the photo that all 11 teams are on the Regional Express signup lists. My information has ZL9578 scheduled to depart at 0605 (not 0600) and to arrive at 0755 and ZL9596 to depart 0630 and arrive 0820. The first 6 teams would have had an advantage of 25 minutes if on schedule.

Only 10 teams had signed in when the photo was taken.
