No Photo evidence but my source Lance (well done to him :hearts:) was on the scene at Central. Teams started the leg ripping open next clue on the Amazing Race mat at Central. Teams seen counting money etc so it must have been the start of the leg(?):

Teams in order of departure were:

1st:Zev and Justin in red shirts left at 12
2nd:Flight time and Big easy left at 12:10pm
3th:cowboy left at 12:11pm
4th:Margie and Luke # 12:12 pm
5th:Kisha and Jen 12:13 pm
[...]
looks like an epic footrace on the first leg <3

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

with Luke shoving Jen again, and Flight Time doing what they did to Sam and Dan now to the Cowboys on their way to the pitstop?

Ok, I'm hoping for R/C to survive, but at this moment, I'm gonna calm myself down so that my expectations will not crashland when I hear that the news is wrong. :o

FT & BE and Kisha & Jen: alliance or rivalry in the long run?

So the train back to Sydney was during the pitstop (like the bus in Germany/France in TAR 16)?

Has anyone been able to confirm teams eliminated ? Please don't tell me Amanda and kris have been eliminated. Is it only speculation at this point ?

There appear to be reports from two diff. sources that confirm the rankings of the last leg, so I'm guessing 30% chance A/K are still in.

I think they won't race in Tokyo, they may fly to Tokyo then fly to other city in Japan.

I find that very unlikely.......if it was true.....all the different teams wouldnt be telling all these "street people" they needed to go to Toyko..........they would mention that other mysterious city

Thanks to Neobie, at least 2 teams are confirmed to have taken the 3PM flight viia HK to Tokyo. Many teams may choose this option as it appears that there were still seats available.

Well this is certainly more possible than them flying to another city.......if they were flying, they would have bought tickets to the other city....the train is a great spec

If they are taking the train from Tokyo, I'm willing to bet Kyoto would be high on the list.

I use to live in Tokyo and my cousin's there near Narita. I'm going to try my best to convince him to go to the airport and spot teams for me, even though he doesn't watch the show.

I would love to see Kyoto too!
The problem is that they would've flown in via Osaka to get there, not Tokyo.

True, but then again, Tokyo is filled with countless possible towns and tourist attractions nearby. Kamakura, Nagano, Nikko, Hakone, the list goes on. Who knows if they'll stay in Tokyo or not.  :duno:

If you can get him to go.......he needs to be out there for a 0600 Cathy Pacific flight and a 0615 Qantas flight.

It doesn't make sense to me for the Race to go back to Tokyo so soon (TAR 15) and not to another city elsewhere in Japan. I can see the teams flying into Tokyo and then taking transport to another part of Japan, though. (TAR 3 did this in England)  I also find it interesting that the eyewitnesses in Sydney only heard mention of "Japan" and not "Tokyo."

If he speaks english....that would really be a plus......a team would "adopt" him for directions...lol

About 16 hours to touchdown....bedtime for me.
