YouTube channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/marcwellness

Looks to be them to me, and I can see their story for getting on the show would be, "We are racing around the world to keep fit and to fight childhood obesity etc", but also promoting their book along the way!

CAPS!!!

I am sorting through the teams now and adding those that I feel are relevant to the contestant post.
Mystery M/F

Young guys- Alpha male team?

Heavy M/M

Balding man and woman- Speculated to be Richard and Joey Marc

Heavy set F/F

Older couple, team turquoise on the side

Could this team:

Be this team:

Its hard to tell under the hat, but I think the man in the 2nd photo is bald, and the woman is blonde.

Caps have also been included into the main post. Feel free to look and point out the glaring errors that I'm sure I've made.

Team 3 could be the "Alpha-male" team spotted in Gili T in green and yellow shirts?

Also team yellow. The guy has a white cap, the girl has a bandana on her head. It could be suspected Richard and Joey Marc, but can't really tell.

In the bottom left corner there is a couple running - could this be a team?

Good eyes! I suppose it is possible, but due to the nature of an Intersection, it wouldn't make sense for only one team to be running away from it, as they appear to be.

Thanks to Heather7, it was found that Richard Marc Toutounji recently added Renae Wauhop as a friend on Facebook.

Renae was the runner up in Miss Universe Australia 2010. She is (or was) a truck driver and roofer, quoted on News.com.au back in November 2009:

"I've always been a tomboy, I love camping and fishing but I'm bored of seeing all these models being in it - what do they do? They haven't been there and they haven't done that," Geraldton-raised, Perth-based former roofer and truck driver Renae Wauhop said".

From what I saw in the Channel 7 pilot promo, Renae did sound very tomboy like! I would say she 95% confirmed as the taller member of the blonde team.

Yeah, she was doing cosmetics infomercials on another network's morning show until recently, when she was replaced by a different Miss Universe Australia participant. Seems pretty likely she's on it. And definitely a vapid airhead. :(

Is that a gumboot dancing troupe (like the Detour from TAR2's Cape Town leg) surrounding the Coke Man clue?
