Exactly, DrRox.

I've also been thinking, something that's been missing for me that we had in earlier seasons that people may say isn't true but I believe it is, is that we always love an underdog, and teams like Linda and Karen, Momily, Meredith and Gretchen, Fran and Barry (older, less capable teams) are great favourites. And I want to see a team that did very well, were loved by everyone, but could still bring some fire to the race..probably rules Meredith and Gretchen out then lol...

However if it is racers from 12-17, who could there be?

Jet and Cord!!!

Fan Faves is important as well, but Prophet, what I meant was an older team, underdog team that we rooted for. How old are Karen and Linda?

At the time of airing TAR 5 they were listed at 41 and 45. That was in 2004 so they are now 47 and 51.

If any teams could come back from pre-11, they would be high on my list along with Colin and Christie

Pre-11, I would like to see Linda/Karen, Colin/Christie and Jon/Kriss. But Jon/Kriss might be too busy. They just had the one year anniversary of their bar in Cabo.....they just might be too busy down there to race.

I don't mind the previous placements, as long as they enjoy the experience (like Gary & Mallory and the Gleeks)

I absolutely loved TAR 11, it is my most favourite season to date!  :hearts:

I hope they don't cast too many former winners.  :knuckles:

I wonder if there is a possibility for 3rd-time racers(like how Rob was on Survivor, 3 times). But since it's expected to be from Season 12 onwards, I think it won't happen most likely.  :neener:

My absolute pet peeve would be hybrid teams on an All Star season. I hope there won't be any hybrid teams. I want original teams please.

This. I don't care who ends up racing, as long as the hybrid team format dies. No offense to anyone.

I actually did'nt mind Eric & Danielle being teamed up together. I suppose if they had'nt won TAR 11, people would'nt have disliked Hybrid Teams very much.  :duno: ;)

Justin tweets regularly, but hasn't tweeted since Tuesday.  Zev doesn't tweet regularly, but last tweeted "Let the good times roll" on Wednesday.

These two might be coming back.

Here's the funny part -- Before that season aired, I predicted they would win on the strengths of Eric's ability to race extremely well.  I had no objection to Eric coming back, I just felt it should have been with Jeremy, as they were the most capable team ever cast. They still are, by objective measurement.

Yep.....Eric should have raced with Jeremy.....but racing with Danielle showed just how good he really was....dragging her around the world......2 races, one 1st and one 2nd....at least best single racer so far. I miss his dad not posting on here.

Is Tiffany trying too hard to convince us she isn't coming back by making vague TAR references?

BTW - pretty sure she isn't racing in TAR 18 - she's booked at a casino tomorrow in Michigan. But I have noticed that some ex-racers are doing some extra tweeting and Facebook posting lately.

Tina of Ken and Tina (Runner-Up, TAR13) raced in a TAR style fireball run from Sep. 23rd to Oct. 2nd. She hasn't been online here since. I talked to her about if she would like to be on the show for a second time and she said she would love to have the possibility. This was around the time she stopped logging in, around the time 'Auditions' for this arose. If you want a 'older team' in their 50's...Tina is 49? Then I think you might have it...They would be the ideal 'older' team for ARAS2

I really hope Michael and Kevin don't come back. They bring the wrong kinds of fans to the show.

If it's All-Stars 12-17 TAR editions then:

TAR 12: Kynt and Vyxsin, Ronald and Christina, Nathan and Jennifer
TAR 13: Ken and Tina, Terence and Sarah, Nick and Starr
TAR 14: Margie and Luke, Kisha and Jen
TAR 15: Meghan and Cheyne (bit boring), Sam and Dan, FT and BE? (yes no?)
TAR 16: Jet and Cord (only 1 really)
TAR 17: Nat and Kat, Gary and Mallory, Michael and Kevin

Cut that down to 11 and I think you've got your race!

Brook and Claire, sad they cannot make it. This is an all-star team imo!

I don't want the Globetrotters (I just don't like teams that aren't as into the RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE as I am, no matter how fun and Yeah-I'd-have-a-beer-with-them-in-real-life they are) but they were stunt-cast the first time and I guess they went for stunt cast again. I don't want Kevin of Michael&Kevin. Looks like I'm going to get both. For that, Gary Ervin better be cast again and Gary and Mallory better win this time! He's my favorite contestant in a long time and they cast so many jerk boyfriends, Gary should be brought back to stand in stark contrast again for what a real man is. He's a huge fan of the show to boot.
