IF they decide to use former racers, this is what I would like to see.

12 legs and 15 teams at start.....

A 4-team finale?
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

Hmm 15 teams is just too much. There'll be teams who'd be ignored totally in the edit (just like how the 20 players seasons of Survivors are) I think 12 is a great number to start with.

If they are all former racers.........we already know who they are.......right? What's the use of spending screentime on the losers?

If you watch a NASCAR race.....do you spend time looking at who is at the tail end????????
If you watch the Kentucky Derby, do you watch the horses at the back of the pack?

By the way Danooky, you almost figured it out. You do have to think a bit. You could do the same thing with 13 Episodes and 16 Teams....

I do mean a standard Finale with only 3 teams.

The only limiting factor I could see, does WRP have enough soundman/cameraman crews to follow that many teams.

I just assumed you weren't a fan of double eliminations

Yeah I am not the biggest fan of the non elimination leg.  I really hate when a team gets saved by two of them.

I am a fan of making them all be on their toes at all time, race all the time......TAR11 was pretty boring to me....too many NELS and lazy racers....

They would all know they have to race.....and somewhere down the line there is a "mid-course correction" LOL

Anyway....right or wrong.....that is my wish. If you dont like it.....fine......post your own wish.

I'd say TAR should have a NEL only when a leg relies heavily on a luck task (haybales, roulettes, etc)

Yeah...I would agree with newbies.........but not with veteran former racers......make they work hard to stay....of send them home.....lol

If they're next to go from it, that won't be possible at all.

It's not.  Just saying they have to get past the F7 to be eligible for an All-Stars run.  If they do, they could be eligible.  If they go next, they won't be.

Is there a rule somewhere that states a team is only eligible for All Stars if they finish higher than 7th, or is this just your opinion/speculation?

No, of course there is no such rule, it just Paron.

*SPEC*
Due to the high energy they're bringing to this season and their racing consistency, I'd think Gary & Mallory would make a great casting choice for All-Stars 2, regardless of their final ranking.

If you wanna be a witch about it. . . .

And yes, there is.  Everyone who got cast last time finished sixth or higher in their original season.  The only one who didn't was for some dumb reason I can't fathom, and the show still hasn't accurately explained it.

The show doesn't have to explain it, Paron, that is the point. They can choose anyone they want, there are no "rules", whether you fathom it or not.

That's why we had a 19 year old this season, when the rules say "21"

And guess I know what I'm going to be for Halloween!! :funny:

Danielle, eliminated 4th in TAR 9, won TAR Allstars....so that blows your "formula." Time to change your formula or wax up the old Quiji board and pull another theory out of the ether.

Now as to Gary/Mallory....I would much rather watch them in a former racers TAR as opposed to some other team like David/Mary that might have finished higher in later races.

Any news of Carol and Brandy, Margie and Luke, Terence and Sarah and Ken and Tina? They're potentials that TAR producers might be looking for again. We all know what's Ken and Tina doing though.. not sure about the other 3 teams.

If I'm not mistaken, Luke hasn't posted on this site in a few months. In the past, he was a bit of a regular.
