From Good Morning Gloucester.

Definetly looks like the race.
Team pink and team light green Look like an all female team.

So, it looks like the teams headed to London and then to Gloucester, Scotland.  I'm excited now!

PS- According to flightstats.com, flight AA 108 is in the air.

Was due to depart 19:15, but looks like it left a little early at 19:06. Lucky first teams!

ETA at LHR 06:43

2nd flight should be almost ready to depart in a few minutes also :yess:

It seems that VS12 departed about 17 mins late (20:02 instead of 19:45), which gives the first teams on AA108 a little extra time buffer, unless the time is made up enroute.

When CBS originally announced the greenlight for TAR back in late 2000, it was originally titled "the Great Race," so the videographer wasn't entirely wrong, just 10 years behind.

Yes, and both flights to Heathrow are currently in the air.

No London apparently. Teams will self-drive to Stonehenge. See the Locations thread....

The American Airlines flight is supposed to land at 6:50 AM (35 minutes) with the Virgin flight landing at 7:02 AM (47 minutes). So they should be at Stonehenge in what, about 2-4 hours?? Just a heads up on when to start looking for tweets/sightings.

Britain is a little different from here..not sure how much the twitter craze has hit there. Our best bet will be tourists.

Stonehenge is normally about an hour and a half from Heathrow...but the M25 will have a good bit of traffic at that hour and could slow them down...but once they are on the M3 they should be fine.

That's their time? Or our time? If that's our time, I don't see everyone getting the clue at the same time. (Stonehenge has hours of operation, right? Just going by what I've been reading.)

If anyone is so inclined to look for a fleet of similar cars rolling out of Heathrow, you can do so here.

Traffic is light at the moment, not sure if it'd pick up a little later, especially, as Peach said, on the horror that is the M25.

Anyone in the airport right now... AA108 should be coming in Terminal 3 Gate 325. VS12 less than 20 mins behind in the same terminal but no Gate yet.

It will take a while to get through customs, its so busy there.

Which camera is best to look at? There's a bunch of pink spots on the map. I'm confused.

I believe the first flight only had 3 teams on it, and it's quite possible that any team could be delayed in customs so the chances of picking up a group from the second batch of races is probably more likely
