No Paron. That is great info, but all it means right now is that we need to look into it. One blog mention does not a spoiler make. It makes something great to follow up on!

Here are pictures I took of production returning to LAX on the morning of June 15th just as we were leaving for Norway.

Sorry for the blurriness but it is a new camera and I was taking the pictures discretely  ;)

Thanks Chateau!!

I think this could be Petr Cikhart...he had shorter hair than previously in the bits from Logan as well.

So . . . just production?  No teams?  This the part of the team who comes in before the F3 arrive?

No Paron. Production. Chateau saw production.

Here's a picture taken on 2010-05-27 11:42:14-04:00 that shows the clue box at Stonehenge.

I haven't contacted the photographer for permission yet - so I won't give a link to the original yet.

I hope Stonehenge comes across as beautifully in the premiere as it did in the two-part season finale of Doctor Who[.i].  And that was in HD in the daytime and at night.

Upon seeing the team reveal, I have to wonder how much of joeyhort's "account" of leg one events was a hoax and how much was real.  Especially because of the bolded part below in regards to the alleged Roadblock on that leg.

I beleive it had something to do with a bell because whenever the bell would chime a team member would come running out. The first two teams out were a f/f pink team and and a m/m orange team were out first and one of the guys said "that was the most challenging thing i have ever had to do in my life, and i went to med school".
I wonder about this mainly because we do have a med school student on this season: Tony (of Ron & Tony).

Other than what he took directly from us, joeyhort was a pile of lies.

Tony is a Doctoral candidate in Retailing & Consumer Sciences, paron. That in no way makes him a med student.

I just wanted to say that in looking at the teams photos and backpacks and more closely, I believe the team photographed in Sweden with Connor and Jonathon are Nick and Vicki and that maybe they are the team who finish 4th this season after all. The girl we thought was Katie looks like Vicki with her backpack, and I just thought the person running on the other side has a black cap on like Nick (one of those skaterish type hats!)

Maybe they are going further than we thought!

Is this what you mean kiwi? Nick and Vicki's packs are very different...

Yes, it was that blue bandana that put me off. Sorry, obviously I was wrong, that is definitely Katie and Rachel then. It just looked like the other person had a hat on like Nick's. Thanks for clearing that up Peach!

A small update on Cheung Chau:

I had my doubts about Cheung Po Tsai Cave in the beginning; it's a pretty long run with a backpack from the ferry terminal (2km, with a stretch over steep inclines), and cameras couldn't possibly fit into the crevices to get into the hole. But I managed to talk to some eyewitnesses today, and yes, it is possible to confirm Cheung Po Tsai Cave as one of our Cheung Chau destinations!

The eyewitness accounts are similar to those from Thailand and China from the past few seasons. Huge crowd of production with about 20 people; they bought three or four boxes of drinks from local grocery stores. It was a pretty big crowd and it was a Saturday in the start of the school holidays (when throngs of visitors descend upon Cheung Chau), so it was difficult to discern between individual teams.

One interesting thing of note: while running to Cheung Po Tsai Cave, a man twisted his ankle and had serious problems; an ambulance was called and there was a bit of a delay. It's unclear whether this was a member of the crew or a racer. I checked out the hospital on the island but didn't come up with anything.

The photos of the teams were taken on the praya outside Wai Yan Memorial College, with teams running west towards the cave. From what I've heard teams didn't actually enter the cave. Didn't find anything suggesting they went anywhere else on the island, although it would be pretty lame to just go to Cheung Chau for a clue box outside the cave.

I have a couple of very casually-taken shots for reference when screencaps come, but here's the place where the photos of the teams were taken. It is a very long distance to be running with backpacks in hot weather!

I am confused here!  If teams left Seoul on the 15th and arrived in Los Angeles on the same day, wouldn't Phil have left the pitstop before the teams on a earlier flight.  Also can anyone show me the posts about the teams racing in Los Angeles that same day.    :groan: :duno:

MJ, I don't believe we have any reports or sightings after they arrived in LA. (YET...)

I know, all I've heard was that the crew were seen at LAX and Phil was there,  but the sighting of the final two teams, they could have been decoys while the real final 3 were still in Korea, unless the there is a Final 2 with the third place team that is way behind like Season 1 (Team Guido) and Season 4 (the friends) who didn't make it to the finish line.  I believe Los Angeles is not our final destination.

Please keep in mind that teams cross over the International Date Line, and when going from west to east, you lose a day on the calendar. In other words, by the time teams arrive in the U.S., the calendar may say its the same day, but it's actually the following day by then in Asia.
