They haven't totally updated the site yet.  I'd bet unless you yourself remove yourself from a league or group or whatever they call it that league continues on into the new Piranha Pool.  I know the Survivor challenge does the same thing.  With the Yahoo Pickem however, I believe you have to make new groups and the old ones get wiped out.  I'm pretty sure that we even have to re-register with them.  Not reregister our yahoo id's but I think we can pick a new id sortof for the game.  I remember that last season when I created Mama's picks for mamaschatzi66@yahoo it was because that was a brand new email address for me.  But Bronx Chick I had to create again for my other address.  I had used that one for prior seasons.  They didn't carry it over.  Do you understand my ramblings?

Yes I understand your ramling.  And you are correct Yahoo wipes out everything and you have to resign up and create an id for the game.  I always try to get there in the beginnign to keep my same sign on id.  Last season a friend signed on and someone already had his login name.  >:(

As far as the SNN game, snew is planning on wiping out the teams that exist there and having everyone rejoin teams.  I believe he is planning on leaving your current user profiles though if you played My Thai...  Most of the games reset for the next survivor approximately 1 to 2 weeks prior to the start of the season, so I believe that you probably have a week or 2 before they get going.

I keep checking Yahoo every day also, so that I can get the same group name as I always use.  Today someone posted that they heard the new Yahoo Pickem isn't starting until after Feb 1st.  I swore last year it started within a week of CBS announcing the players.  I haven't played the other game ya'll are talking about, what's it like?

Teresa,

The Surviviornews game, My Parana (sp?) is a game where you answer spoiler type questions and try to figure out the correct answer.  It also contains boot and immunity questions.

A typical question might be like this for last season:

On the pyrimid moving game, how many layers are there on the pyrimid.  then, multiple choice answers after the question.

There is another game out there called Mediiawhore that is very similar to Snews game.  They are both pretty fun to play if you get into spoiling at all.

I think you will like it.  Yahoo Pickem is very basic compared to this game.  If they do this season like last, then you can get extra points by voting early.

As soon as it gets started I will invite her.  Cindi is the kind of person that if it doesnt get her attention right off she won't join, so sending her an invite right now would be kind of useless, LOL.  AS soon as the new season on the game starts I will send her the link.

My Pirahna has officially started to accept new teams and members.  I'm the team leader at my other board, so I don't think I can join your team here, but, Rob (or whoever is in charge here) you might wanna get your team started! Snew says he will be posting questions early next week.

Thanks for the info Archangelnot!  I will create a new group for My Piranha.  Last season, I created a group for us and I was also in another group The Alliance as I post over on their message board as well.   I guess it's up to you if you would like to join us.  We would love to have you on our team if you would want.  I know that there is a minimum of 4 people if we want to be considered a team?  I'm heading over there now.  I will start posting more over at VotedOff so, if you will have me, I would like to join your team as well.  Do you have a special section that you post the info in?

Actually, I think it's a min of 5 people... I'll join here also if able...

As far as the Team at Votedoff, There is a hidden forum for team members containing all the info for the teams we "sponsor", if I know your user name over there, I can let you in... we allow anyone to join that wants to, they just have to let me know and I let them in.
