Carol/Brandy take a rest.
Brent/Caite consider bringing 3 at a time to finish before them.
Cops grab 6, causing THE SMOKING MAN (tip of the cap to X-Files) to gag and hack uncontrollably.

At the Speed Bump, neither Jet nor Cord claim a good sense of smell.
The lady gives them a spice to sniff. THey have to determine which of THE THREE teas has that same smell.  (Only 3?)
They have to take the right one over to a not-so-nearby guru.  They choose one.  He ain't far, though; he's on a swing in the same park.
Guru: NOT IT.
Cowboys go back  to the lady.
Second try they get it right.  (There were only 3.)
Cowboys still in 1st, I think.

Steve/Allie and Dan/Jordan walking and semi-running up a hill (apparently, trying to get to where Jet/Cord already were ... the Temple).

Oops!  Steve/Allie and Dan/Jordan WRONG LOCATION!  Now they're fighting over the 1 and only cab which remains!
Steve conf: He remained loyal to us.
Dan/Jordan stuck, on foot, wrong Temple.

COMMERCIAL.

Dan/Jordan profess not to give up.
Steve's cab driver still doesn't seem to know where he's going though, so Dan/Jordan's new cab may be better ... We'll see.
Steve gets out to ask directions.  The local points like, halfway across the continent.
Steve ... oh crap ... trying to get to the "flag balancing deal"?

Jet/Cord, ROADBLOCK.
Phil: Competition getting fierce. Teams will need more than perseverance. Two Hindu ritauals for good luck.
First, smash coconuts to find the one with bright color inside.  Build a minature offering known as a float, and the guru will set it off to sea.

Brent/Caite finish Detour in 2nd, get Temple CLUE.
Carol/Brandy finish Detour in 3rd.

Cops finish incense task in 4th. They wonder aloud where Steve/Allie could be.
Steve's cab lets them off at the park.
Allie: OMIGOD I CANNAE DO THAT FLAG TASK THINGY!
Steve urges her to try. She's like, HELL TO THE NOE.
Steve/Allie turn around and run, looking for another taxi.

Cowboy finds the red-insided coconut and starts building his "boat."
Steve/Allie can't find a cab.  Okay, they finally find one.  The crawler says they're in L A S T.
Brent/Caite panic as if their driver is taking them to the wrong place.  He took them to a pitched tent.

Meanwhile, Cowboy finishes his decorative offering and lights it.  He tries to cast it to sea.  Success!  Pitstop CLUE.

Phil: Historic section of the island, Pinang Peranakan Mansion.  Last team to check in may be eliminated.

Dan and Jordan in 5th
Steve and Allie in 6th.

I think.

Brent/Caite ask directions, AGAIN. Dumbass driver for them, too.

Dan/Jordan carry incense sticks up the stairs.

Arriving there in last, Allie starts pissing-off Dad. "WILL YOU LOOK AT ME FOR A SECOND!?"
He's trying to lift the heavy-ass incense sticks.
I'd be like SHADDAP AND LIFT SOMETHING!

Damnable Cop ... 2nd coconut was red inside.
Lesbians still there.

Brent/Caite arrive there to find the Lesbos beat them to the Roadblock.

Jet and Cord in first! :)

They're one incredibly strong team when everything is neutral. They've only had one legitimately bad leg and during it they had 2 strokes of bad luck that made it so they were last after the map got forgotten.

Without knowing times and all because of editing, I have a feeling that if they didn't have good luck or bad luck, just neutrality, even with forgetting the map in the bottle, they may have been mid pack that last leg.

Dan/Jordan carry their last one and light their fire.
Allie: COME ON, DAD! GO!
Umm ... heffa, you're the one who said hell to the no back at the other Detour.

Lesbians finish building their offering and get clue in 2nd. Off to the pitstop.
Caite is still breaking coconuts.
Louie pushes his offering out to sea, in 3rd.
Brent is pissed.

Dan/Jordan finish lighting all the incense, leaving in 5th for the RB.
Carrying, Steve: Just tell me if you want to take a break, Allie.
Dan/Jordan: This is by far the toughest leg.

Finally, Caite builds an offering. She pushes it out to sea, in 4th.
Mystery music punctuates the occasion.

Phil: Carol/Brandy ("waiting for the eyebrow to go up"). Congratulations. You're team #2.

Allie lights incense. They leave and head toward the RB / Temple.
Dan/Jordan's cabbie is OUT OF GAS!
Well, not quite; he's just stopping for gas at the gas station.

COMMERCIAL.

Yeah, if they'd had better luck and remembered the map they'd have been fourth, most likely.  And Carol & Brandy would've had the Speedbump.

In other news, it looks like Steve & Allie will be Philiminated.  Darn!

Actually the "Beatles" leg was brutal for that team.  They lucked out on the fact that the flight that should have arrived first was seriously delayed.  They either performed the worse or 2nd worse (with Jeff & Jordan doing worse, I can't remember off the top of my head).

And the 2nd French leg, Boy they fed that leg up two, what saved them on this leg was the fact that there was no equalizer so they managed to keep a lead of hours over Brent & Caite & Jeff & JOrdan, we wont ever know how long it took Jeff & Jordan but the only team that took longer to complete the leg was Dan & Jordan who wasted hours on their detour choice.

Don't remember the specifics of that leg but I don't have the best memory either lol. Still incredibly strong though.

Dan/Jordan's cab didn't take a while really.  At least they're moving.
Steve/Allie are stuck in traffic in their cab.  Steve starts bitching.

Phil: Louie/Michael, you're team #3.

Arriving, Dan/Jordan see the cluebox.   Guess who needs "a splash of color"?
Fourth coconut, success.
Steve/Allie arrive as he makes his offering.
Guru: SORRY, NO.

Second time's the charm. Dan/Jordan are back in the cab as Steve/Allie are at the cluebox.
Steve still thinks somehow they can survive.
Allie's doing it.
She's smashing madly away, but if it takes more than a couple, she's toast.

Man: Welcome to Penang, Malaysia.
Phil: Brent/Caite, you're Team #4.
Caite: We'll take it.

Allie finds a greenish one. She builds her offering. She takes it to the Guru. CLUE. They're off to the pitstop.

Dan/Jordan have the lead, but it's a traffic jam.
Steve says "we're almost there. This is it!"

Phil: Steve/Allie, you are the last team to arrive.  Sorry to tell you, you have been eliminated.
Allie giggles uncomfortably.
Allie: I'mma cry.  It's been fun.
A conf: Special, the time of my life with you, Dad.  Something that'll last forever.
Steve: She worked so hard. She showed me alot.  You're tough, man.
S conf: I remember her as my 5 year old girl.  I got a World Series ring, but this?  Jumped ahead.

Have we ever had a complete reversal of positions like we did this leg?
6-5-4-3-2-1  became  1-2-3-4-5-6.
