Another 6.6 earthquake in central Italy.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/31/world/europe/italy-earthquake-norcia.html?_r=0

Following on from this, it has destroyed a six-century church and was felt in Rome.

A blessing? Yes that more people were not hurt and Rome antiquities not destroyed. But def not a blessing for all the others affected. Poor Italy!!

I think TAR finally broke the "disaster curse" and gave us a blessing..... as already reported in the TAR Media thread this past July:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/chicagoinc/ct-the-amazing-race-filming-in-chicago-20160703-story.html

After visiting Chicago in TAR29, TAR has single handedly broken the 108 year drought and caused the Chicago Cubs to win the World Series this year.   :wohoo:

But don't take my word for it, here's a pic:

I just realized something...

TAR 30 started filming on October 1, just a few hours before the tragic shooting in Las Vegas...   :(

Nothing other than it took place on same day. Sad indeed.

Ok, I realized and forgot about what this thread was supposed to discuss. Sorry.

Schocking attack. Reminds me of Melbourne's attack this year. RIP everyone and justice will be served to that disgrace of a 'man' who committed this attack.

He appears to have been removed from power after 37 years, and he and his wife are now under house arrest.

A coup, but looks to be pretty peaceful which is good. At the very least a calm uneasiness and uncertainty.

He resigned in order to avoid impeachment and removal, not exactly voluntary. Just like Nixon in 1974.

And what does that event has to do with the topic of this thread?

And also same night Phil mentions tectonic plates opening up huge canyons in Iceland during the premiere  :cmaslol

Found one close to where I live, the Thomas Fire likely destroyed much of the scenery featured in the season 28 finale.
