The Bungee is a RB? or am I on the wrong trail too!!

That seems plausible.  However, it looks like the other half of the Intersection pair do a different task (navigate the trains).

Intersection and Fast Forward would mean two teams win it, and the possibility of a permissible first place tie on the leg. (This happened the last time there was an FF, in fact that was the season a team won two fast forwards within the rules.)

Agreed.  But I think we have seen Brandy (?dark hair) watching a pair (my guess is Joe & Allie) on the bungee before doing the bungee with Dan.  Thus 2 Intersected teams doing the bungee.

Based on the vidcaps, Joe & Allie are essentially finished with the bungee when Brandy is shown watching them.  If bungee was a FF, the Joe & Allie Intersected alliance would win the FF and Brandy & Dan would not have to jump.

Somewhat convoluted and confusing.

That seems plausible.  However, it looks like the other half of the Intersection pair do a different task (navigate the trains).

And the eating/drinking task would likely follow the bungee.  Otherwise the bungee would produce an ugly messy visual.

maybe the navigate the subway is the FF option?

could they be taking it to the Beatles place, where the FF clue would be waiting for them?  wasn't there something about a Beatle's puzzle? ???

Not sure how the Beatles will come in, but that's not where Caite/Jordan are headed. Wait. That's where they are headed, but it's in the wrong direction from where they want to go.

I'm not sure how desirable it would be to send teams to the Reeperbahn at night. It's the red light district of town.

Although Jet/Cord are seen in the bar in daylight and at the Intersection at night, I wouldn't put it past them to scout out one side of the Detour (which may come after the Intersection) if they arrive at the Intersection too early to find a partner.

Neobie, I am not seeing the "daylight"..can you explain or show exactly what you mean by that?? If it is that doorway...we see now that that is only the reflected kitchen...not an outside window. If it is something else, I don't see it so would love you to show me... :kuss:

Hi ... I am new here :)

I thought Caite was going to turn 21 while she was on the race?

She turns 21 this month.

could the beer drinking task possibly be a fast forward?

If they stick to US law, then prob not, since it wouldn't be fair to exclude them from trying for it.

And :welcome: to RFF to you both!!

I thought that the application for TAR 17 specifically stated that a person had to be at least 21 years old in order to participate.  Or do TPTB wave such a requirement for teenage beauty queens?

I am thinking this could be in the old commerical room - look at the color of the walls and the lights on the ceiling  (I tried to post link to old commercial room - not working for me :'()
Actually, it looks like maybe the Red Lounge (known for it's cigars, etc.) (a section of the old commercial room), and I think there is smoke in the picture, or am I seeing things?  :colors They look very happy so maybe this is either the fastforward[/s] this is the pitstop??

I rotated this picture to see if we can get a better look at who this is:

Man and woman... can't tell if Caucasian or Asian. Asian would imply Joe right?

but the man is look like Michael / Louie , it isn't Joe I think..

it's not michael or louie. the commercial teasing the episode shows michael/louie pairing up with jet/cord, jeff/jordan with brent/caite, dan/jordan with carol/brandy. so steve/allie have to be paired with joe/heidi

I think the teams are intersected and are splitted up. Then one specific splitted intersected team will perform the Roadblock (which I think is a series of tasks: the gastronomy and the bungee). The other half will just have to wait for the team to finish.

This is what I think. I hope I don't make the mess I did during Guilin Episode.

Dan and Jordan with Carol and Brandy

I think the one on the right is Steve, judging from the hairline.

iwas thinking ponytail.... I can't be sure, but Joe and Allie seem reasonable.

I agree with you, it looks like a ponytail. Also, Joe isn't bigger than Steve. Not that much bigger anyway. So it must be Joe and Allie.

Allie and Steve and Joe and Heidi arrive at the inter section before Carol and Brandy and Dan and Jordan right?  Brandy is looking at them doing the RB.

i personally don't think that there are two different tasks for the newly intersected pairs, as some people stated earlier in the thread.

i base this off of the Jordan/Caite in the subway clips.

why would BOTH Brent and Jeff opt to do a bungee jumping task, when both have stated earlier that they are no good with heights?

and give Jordan the task of navigating the subway?  and apparently Caite isn't as good at navigating as she once thought...

what i think is that the girls have to navigate their way from the intersection place to bungee jumping place, while the guys are escorted to that place and are waiting for the girls to complete the jump.

you know, something similar to the marathon roadblock in Siberia in Season 14, in the fact that one teammate is waiting for the other at the "finish line" of the task.

What about something like a split detour? (never used before) The detour could be Jump it (Bungee) or find it (Subway) because the commercial does have a screen with the word "split." Then the Beer would be an additional and maybe the Rb is the eel.

What task involves tracing the Beatles early years? Is it a specific task or implied?
