  maybe they got there first, saw that they have to wait for another team... decide to look for hat store while waiting for detectives.   :lol3:  actually, they may be so far ahead that they go and have a few at the bar while waiting.

Just want to give y'all a head up about the beer part with Jet & Cord. We aren't allowed to have a drink just for fun during the race unless it is part as the task. Drinking is against the rule on the Race.

So, drinking beer must be a task.

FROM THE COUNTRYSIDE TO THE CONCRETE JUNGLE, TEAMS TRAVEL TO GERMANY WHERE THEY COME FACE-TO-FACE WITH THE HAMBURG SKYLINE, ON "THE AMAZING RACE," SUNDAY, MARCH 7 ON CBS

"We Are No Longer In The Bible Belt" (Germany) — Racers must navigate an unfamiliar and confusing train system without their teammates, take a dive over Hamburg and reunite for a nausea-inducing lesson in German gastronomy, on THE AMAZING RACE, Sunday, March 7 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Phil Keoghan is host.

  looks like we are in for a food challenge...  "gastronomy" would imply food, not just beer... hmmmm

only local Hamburg food that might qualify as nausea-inducing might be Labskaus   :duno:

Do we have two roadblocks this leg?

One is navigating the metro, and the other one is the bungee?

Probably not a surprise, but so far I've only found one match for an underground, slightly-curved platform with matching roof and lighting - the station right beneath the Intersection clue box, Jungfernstieg.

ETA: The train going east curves left as it enters Jungfernstieg (YouTube video). The girls board a train that curves right, so the wrong train goes west while they intended to go east?

wow, this is going to be epic.  An intersection.  Maybe for the team roadblock they have to ride the metro to the bungee jump

Joined Roadblock and team splitting, maybe the Intersection will finally vindicate itself
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I don't see the clock, Peach?

Looks like they figure out their mistake at the next station, Stadthausbrücke. They're not going to the Reeperbahn then. No red light district at night for these racers!

And here's the checker pattern at the bottom of the wall, the indicator for where short trains stop.

Maybe the whole title should be "We Are No Longer in the Bible Belt or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Like the Intersection"

My best guess so far - Astra beer glass boot.

Trygg-Hansa is an insurance company.

Edit: on further review, it does not have to be Astra beer.

NY Times wrote it was founded by a German who sailed from Hamburg 20 years ago and stayed.  you just can't make this stuff up.  bwahahahaha...

Any chance they have to go back to Chile to catch a flight to Germany?  Maybe that's where the intersection starts???  I dunno.
