Thanks, Puddin.  :cmas9 I found a picture of the market; the sign reads Templeman, one of the main drags of Old Town. The cross-street? Maybe...San Enrique.

OK, I think I've got it. Enlarge the pictures here and here; it's the building behind San Luis Gonazga church at the top of Cerro Alegre. The cross street is Galos.

I realize that there is no overwhelming evidence that AR16 teams went ot Kota Kinabalu. If they did then the flight information below is relevant.

Here are the flight schedules weekdays from Kota Kinabalu:

MH637 1000 1330 1-stop
MH9111/MI391 1150 1405
3K528 1335 1555

Since teams had to get to Kota Kinabalu in order to leave from there, there are two primary routes into BKI, through Singapore and through Kuala Kumpur. Here is the weekday schedule from Singapore to Kota Kinabalu:
Monday/Wednessday/Friday
MH9112/MI392 0840 1110
MH638 1335 1715 1-stop

Tuesday/Thursday. there are different flights: 3K527 1035 1255;MH638 1335 1715 1-stop; MH9114/MI396 1425/1700

From Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, there are many more flights:
MH2604 0730 1005
MH2612 0920 1155
MH708   0950 1225
MH2114 1200 1435
MH2616 1415 1650
MH068   1500 1735
MH2682 1720 1955
MH2688 1950 2225
MH2626 2150 0025+1

:wohoo:

Now, care to share any specifics?  ;)

This does make Germany seem more likely. And bets are on: Oceania or NA for the 5th continent?

You can get 5 continents without Europe or Antarctica, and I suspect that is what we have (all except North America) are in the Southern Hemisphere, if not south of the Tropic of Cancer (the imaginary line demarcating the northern end of the Tropics around the globe).

And I think that's a good race, but not one that will be done in 21 days or less (due to travel time from continent to continent). My guess is 23 days.

I am still hoping for Oceania especially if they visit like Fiji or Tahiti.  Those two places are the biggest transit hubs in the South Pacific Ocean.  Honolulu is also a major transit hub, but its in the North Pacific Ocean.

Wait a minute: we got South America, Asia, Europe, and North America as the only continents so far, so that's four continents.  So what if its all six again like in Season5 theres always that possibility.

What are you talking about: North America is confirmed, the Race starts there and ends there.  Oceania is only a possibility and Africa is unconfirmed.  South America is confirmed with the legs in Chile and Argentina.  We have teams in Singapore, which is Asia and possibly Malaysia what is also in Asia. Europe is possible do the teams possibly going to Germany.
1: USA-Chile
2: Chile
3: Chile-Argentina
4: Argentina??
5: Argentina-Germany??
6-11/12/13: Malaysia & Singapore, USA

We do not have Europe.

We actually only can confirm North America, South America, and Oceania. I bet the other two will be Asia and Africa. I really don't see them going to Antarctica (sorry peach!) and the last race was like.....almost ALL Europe.

In last season: 6 legs in Asia, 5 legs In Europe. Just saying... sorry off-topic
