OMG. The expected Survivor 23 and 24 in Caramoan, Philippines might not happen at all..... :'( :'(

.... and that is because of the incident just a minute ago. Hostage takers took Hong Kong citizens inside a bus and held them hostage for almost 9 hours here. And as of press time, the hostage taker was shot dead. However, only few hostages were released from the bus... others are feared dead.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Please. No. It's just one incident that happens in every country. :'(

Hong Kong citizens? Uh oh. :ascared Do you know if the bus was going to the airport or leaving the airport?

And yes, I hope CBS will still go to the Philippines. I'll cry if they don't. :'(

But I seriously hope none of the hostages are dead.  :ascared

Bang bang. Sorry to burst your bubble, but almost 3/4's of the passengers allegedly were shot.  :'(
Now, the whole world's gonna hate us. No, we are not all terrorists! :'(

Again, I wanna stress out. The Philippines is such a beautiful country. However, because of several stupid people who think like they can succeed Hitler, the pristine beauty of our country is blemished with these. Please do not be afraid of the Philippines: it's just an unfortunate event and let's just pray for the safety of the Philippines.

Moving on..............

Just a while ago, I watched all of the previous intros (first 10 minutes of the 1st eppy) of the past seasons of Survivor.
I liked Survivor Australia, Africa, Amazon, Thailand, Pearl Islands, Vanuatu, All-Stars, Exile Island, Guatemala, Micronesia, China, Gabon, Tocantins, and HvV.

China, Thailand, Pearl Islands and Vanuatu: Its theme is full of colorful culture. I liked it how the opening sequence was mixed with cultural sounds and temples. I seriously consider watching these four when I have time.

Australia, Africa, Amazon, Guatemala, Gabon, Tocantins, China: The location makes it a stand-out for me. It's not the typical islandy scene, which is very boring for me I believe.

All-Stars, Micronesia, HvV: I loved these seasons just because of the theme of bringing back some of my favorite survivors. I think these seasons were not mixed with any culture (like the first group above) or location (second group) to make it surface, and I agree with that.

All-in-all, here are the criteria that I'm looking forward to:
- Culture like China and Thailand and Vanuatu and Pearl Islands.
- Non-islandy beaches location like the second group above
- Ingenious season-long twist/theme like bringing back survivors (however, not all the time though!)

The first ten minutes of the show is very important because it will set the impact of inviting the watcher to watch the full season. And with all the seasons stated above, they had the impact I needed

Survivor Japan - culture
Survivor Korea - culture
Survivor India - culture
Survivor Vietnam - culture
Survivor Mongolia - culture and terrain
Survivor Indonesia - culture
Survivor Egypt / middle east country - culture and terrain
Survivor Costa Rica - terrain
Survivor Philippines - just because I love the Philippines
