What?!? I don't get it, a team was sighted, could be one of two teams, people are speculating on it.

Well, there is speculating and then there is reality. We do try to keep some reality around here.

And re Australia, they certainly could have been there BEFORE Singapore, that's what I was trying to say.

And thank you zach, but no, no need to stake out NC. ;)

Very true on the reality part of it and that picture was definitely reality, around the time it was said to be taken, but then this description by the blogger was confusing too.

The point is that JeJo were spotted in Mexico last week.  While TAR does sometimes double back on their routes (like Groeningen, Stockholm, Tallin, Prague last season) it would be far too expensive for TAR 16 to race 4-5 legs in Chile and Argentina, then double back to Mexico before continuing on.  And we all know that TAR is all about the budget nowadays.

I'll just throw this out there.....going back to Chateau's list of contestants he photographed at the airport - there is still a male/female team that we have no photo of!  This team, for all we know could be the blond haired guy and brunette girl!  Just sayin'......

This is related to TAR 16, but not exactly pertinent to the current speculation.

Anyway, what are the odds that TAR gets the post Super Bowl slot? Current buzz is that either Survivor or one of the CBS comedies gets it.

Just wanted to point out that the penultimate leg has been in Oceania before, in TAR4.

Not that I'm suggesting that it's going to be done again. (I'm with Peach, perhaps it occured before Singapore.)

And another confusion for me. One sighting has a blond haired guy/brunette girl, another has a girl with long hair, younger, and a guy and doesn't say the hair colors.

You're right. My bad.
I'm debating whether Australia gets 2 legs if it is/was visited.

Only chance of teams going to Australia before Singapore is if they went to somewhere like Ayres Rock or Alice Spings (which would be cool). No way could they get away with it in a major city like Sydney or Melbourne without someone spotting them already.

Yeah, that's very true.

They went to Coober Pedy in TAR2, maybe we can Switchback, "I'm Not A Miner! No You're An Idiot!" :cmaslol Best episode title!

Back on topic: I'm hopin that they did come, but that could mean that there was not much time spent in Africa, if that's the case (especially if Frankfurt was a Pit Stop).

Regarding the tweet/blog about JeJo in Germany, it could be true, since the 5th and 6th out probably went to ES in Puerto Vallarta just like the first 4 would have from S America.

Source?  BTW I believe you, but I've been looking for this info for a while (along with the ACM date) and found nothing.

Shame with no TAR post-Superbowl, but the race course doesn't call for it.  Besides, who would want to have a show air opposite three weeks of winter games coverage and then the Academy Awards?

As long as the season doesn't end on May 9, I'm cool.  And I'll even move on with that if Survivor ends on May 16.

I think it's the first six teams that go to ES, wouldn't matter if they were eliminated on a different continent than where the ES is at. At least I don't think so.

Wow..You've got good eyes..I would never have thought a garbage pail was in the street along side of a parked car...It looks like it could be a backpack standing up, but I'll bow to you...

the teams never wear jeans while racing b/c many tasks prevent that type of clothing.  They wear mostly comfortable running clothes and/or production provided clothing (thoughts of the globetrotters in dutch dresses running through my head right now)
