Recently, I heard Rush Limbaugh, an avid 24 fan, put in a plug for the upcoming season.  Did you know Rush has been on the 24 set in previous seasons?  He's also friends with Vince Flynn, author of a book series similar to 24.  The 24 writers have consulted Flynn on show content.

A little spoiler about Season 8:  CTU is baaccck!  Yeah.

CTU is back and it's better than ever. Chloe is working there.

From the promo that was aired during the World Series this week, we know Jack has decided to move back to LA to be with Kim and his *ahem* granddaughter. He's retired from the government, but then receives a tip that a UN ambassador is about to be shot. Then all hell breaks loose. It's tick... tick... tick... tick... again.

Flynn was a guest on The Glenn Beck Show recently.  Very interesting episode as Flynn described his newest book...of which the name slips my mind at the moment.  ???

Same here bee1233!

Here in Austin, we have a problem with Time Warner. They are negotiating with Fox Broadcasting but haven't come to an agreement and threaten to take it off their lineup! I will have a serious issue with them if they don't fix this. No way will I miss 24!  :cmas28

Seems they are taking a 30 cooling off period.  If I don't get Fox....I will cancel my cable.  Can't miss Idol or 24!  Thanks for the Internet so we can see the shows.  :rodeo

Obviously Jack didn't get a golden ticket, he's not going to Hollywood. (I thought LA was blown up with the nuke like 2 seasons ago...)

HMMMM.... A lot of plots introduced in the opening. Wife mad at husband, daughter is sympathetic to her father. CTU computer expert has changed her name and left home with an ex-boyfriend in prison. Now he's out and calling 24/7. Brother part of a plot to assassinate his brother? Madame President is a divorcee. (Hopefully her daughter Olivia is in the pokey and unable to receive visits.)

Jack didn't know that going a few blocks to the precinct was the wrong way to get him there? We know that the bad guys can find a needle in a haystack faster than the drone above NY can zero in on a banana skin! You've been out of touch too long Jack!

Tall, blond, Chloe-wannabe, being an undercover girlfriend of a CTU guy is never a good career move. Also a word of advice. Never ever, EVER go to the computer room to check on anything. Even if you are the only person at CTU left, even if you are the only one who knows what server goes to the WH, whatever, do not go there. It will not end up well. Trust me.

Reporter girl. She's up to something, we just know she's up to something! I doubt Hastings will find out what it is though. He's an example of the Peter Principle if ever I saw one.

Was it odd or what that the bad cop talked like a New Yorker on steroids with the cop's wife then forgets or something and starts talking with a weird accent when the good cop wouldn't give him his day off? (Day off tomorrow no less when the hit is supposed to happen in the next hour. He gets so peeved, he shoots the wife in the thigh. I thought only Jack did that kind of thing!

Did Jack get too many Kim stem cells, after all the times that Chole risked everything for Jack, he won't help her? It took a minute or two with Kim's help for him to decide to stick it out in NY even though he knows it will go downhill for the next 22 hours.

Is Hassan's brother a step brother? They don't have any similarities whatsoever and obviously blood isn't thicker than water with that little brother. (Literally little.)

Did any one catch this? Ethan is now Secretary of State?

Good thing Jack is a good listener, otherwise he'd have been without weapons and his man bag and no way to contact Chloe.

Can't wait to see what happens tonight!

Where is TarAsia's score card?  :(

I'm enjoying Renee! She deserves an award for her performance!

The Dana subplot, CTU specialist, blah, boring and stupid! It's so bad I actually was hoping that the ex-con/ex-boyfriend Kevin would just go ahead and do away with her. It's too stupid and a diversion. IF I pondered it, I'd wonder why she couldn't manufacture some charge and send the police to arrest him until she can think of something better. OR.. shoot him and his buddy on the couch for trespassing, breaking and entering. How did she get a top secret clearance?? However that's too much thinking about the stupid sub-plot. Chloe is on to her! I'm repeating.. Dana.. going into the computer room is not a good idea... don't say I didn't warn you. (However I'm reconsidering this advice...)

I felt bad for Ziya, he already had his thumb cut off, now he's fish bait.

President Hassan, don't listen to Madame President. You need to keep rounding up the bad guys in your country. (Could your brother pick up radiation poison by checking the room with the dying guy? Just asking...)

Good grade Ken.

On Twitter, Annie Wersching was getting all types of praise for her performance. On Facebook and Twitter, she's quite good with the fans. Love her posts.
