Dont know details on his injury yet. I was led to believe it had something to do with an injury he had in his past before playing the game.

One last time and I mean last time. Ashley tonight - next will be Russell Swan going down when Foa felt they had the lead in the challenge - then a Tribal with both tribes and nobody going home. I have no idea if they will show that or not - most do not think they will. Most all of the players felt there would be no boot when they went. Then we have 1 more boot from Foa Foa after that - then the merge - then Erik leaving even though none of the 4 Foa members had immunity. Shambo flips. Final 3 is Russell - Natalie - and Mick. The spat with Russell and Liz tonight is just misdirection again. The biggest reason your gal Ashley leaves tonight is because someone out there found out about her being a huge fan of the show and also friends with some past players so they thought it was smart to get her out. Oh and the bootlist posted about 20 is not 100% accurate. Enjoy the show Julie!

NEXT TIME ON…SURVIVOR for real
Next week’s episode features one of the scariest moments I’ve had in my entire run on Survivor. Check that – the scariest. I’m not trying to over hype. I’m just giving you a tease. I don’t want you to get your expectations so high that you’re let down, but I am going to be honest that for a few seconds during next week’s episode I was really worried we were in danger of losing a contestant… forever.

No wonder Jeff got scared!  I'd be pretty scared too if I saw someone go down and hit their head in the process!   :ascared

It looked like the blindfolding might have got him nervous and dizzy and he may not be able to breathe properly wearing that, and addition with the dehydration that's a bad combination!  :ascared That is gonna be a scary episode!

It doesn't look like a serious hit to me (I know it is, but the previews seemed to show a slight knock), and i really hope it's really not serious and it is just something light.. and hopefully he won't be removed from the game.

This season marks the  second time 2 person got removed from the game then? Micronesia being the first?

I know puddin, i'm just saying.. it looks like the hit was not very devastating from the preview (and i'm hoping it's not!!!!!, although jeff said he nearly died..) but i really hope that it's not serious because it sucks to be taken out of the game like that and it must have hurt alot............. :'(

He appears to hit with his chin then falls backwards. I think it was a pretty bad accident, plus he already was dehydrated.

Looks like TDT is going with missyraes spoilers.

REWARD CHALLENGE: "Roll With It" - Russell S. collapses due to dehydration, removed
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Cancelled?
BOOT: None?
Survivor: Samoa episode 6 detailed boot spoilers/ speculation
Once again, EW revealed several weeks ago that the second and final medical evacuation would take place in this episode. So that accounts for at least one person out this week. And as the preview shows (as previously alleged by missyae at Sucks) that person is Russell Swan.

But in looking at the calendar and the schedule of remaining shows leading up to the finale, they still need to ditch two people in one episode at some point between here and the finale, if it's on 12/13, as originally scheduled.
Still, there's this: missyae 10/8/09 4:01 p.m. "When Russell goes down in the challenge - Foa Foa had a lead and thought they had it won. BOTH tribes go to Tribal Council and sit and talk with Jeff and NOBODY is voted out."

Major update: From the web promo, weekend ads, and press photos, it looks like this will be a single-day episode, and the central event will be the aborted RC and Russell Swan's medical evacuation. Possibly even including the no-boot tribal council missyae mentions above. This apparently will be accomplished by adding an extra episode to the schedule, and pushing the finale date back to December 20th, consistent with a rumor reported by Wezzie at MeSS.
