You can see for sure that whatever option the Globetrotters do in the market is a detour

I have a question, does the area I circled look like water? TO me it looks like a canal. those black things are where you tie up a boat.

Tiffany and Maria say there is a briefcase WE have to deliver to someone... right?

The clue in Cheyne's hand looks red to me...maybe the task is a Roadblock, or maybe that's just leftover from the Roadblock.

IMO, teams may still say "we" have to deliver it, even if only one person was doing the task (roadblock).
Wouldn't a bigger indicator be that the 2 team members are still together?  Usually if it was a Roadblock, one team member will either wait at a spot or be transported to a rendevous spot, while the other teammate does the task.  Have we had roadblocks where they travel together DURING the task?

Maybe they get the roadblock clue and they are now reading it. Afterwards the Roadblocker much do the task while the Other person is transported to the rendezvous place.

;D Just a few observations about Team Zebra and their gold.  I see a scale and what looks like a calculator, along with lots of bullion in the form of blank coins and bars.  NONE of the gold has any markings of any kind.  Typically bullion carries the weight and fineness on it.

Are the teams required to guess the weight of a specific amount of gold?  And were these gold pieces made especially for TAR?   :ascared  Way cool if they were.   :snicker:

Just looking through the store window, it appears to be a modern mall of some kind, rather than the chaotic souk.  Perhaps they are in the nearby Gold Centre Building, instead of the actual older gold souk.  :duno:

 Hmmm...

At Dubai’s Gold Souk, gold is sold according to weight – except for very light pieces of jewellery. One gram of 22-carat gold costs around 10 dollars, duty-free. Bargaining is often possible, especially when intending to buy several pieces at once. With larger purchases, customers receive small gold gifts as complimentary give-aways.

Something like we'll take 2 grammes?

or how about something more evil (ala BVM).... what if the scale is calibrated in "grams" and they are told to weigh out X "ounces" of gold. Are they smart enough to know that 1 oz. = 28 grams?   (:;)  truly evil..

On the question of taxis:

Teams took white U-drive vehicles from Ski Dubai to the Souk. I saw the car the Globetrotters were driving as wel as the one Sam/Dan were driving near the end of last Sunday's telecast. Why would they abandon them and take a taxi? I think they still have those cars.

That would be cruel...
or how about finding one gold piece in the pile which is of a different weight?

;D while we're speaking of briefcases.... we still have one location left to spoil...  this briefcase sure gets around..    maybe it will help to clear up a few loose ends.

I'd say this shot of Gary was taken at the previous leg's Pit Stop location.
