Okay, I see where I went wrong...the photo I thought was B/E on the yacht is in the souk. I couldn't figure out why they were both there. ...and dry.
Thanks Boingo...I knew where they were, just wasn't clear on the details.

Here is a thought...we see the 3 men on the yacht rising....is that politeness to a woman or would they stand for anyone??

And if we see the one team member WITH the briefcase...is that who will be doing the task?

glad to help, peach.  If you look closely at the "enhanced" photo puddin photoshopped of the 3 amigos in the yacht, you can see the reflection of the cameraman and (possibly the soundman or some other production crew member).  I suspect this is a standup shot not involving the racers but for the benefit of the previews.  I suspect they will either stand or sit when the actual racer(s) arrive.  I don't think this has any significance at all to the story.

As far as the briefcase goes, we know the racers are seen carrying it at the marina.  One can speculate that they take the briefcase to the yacht in exchange for the little red box.  Or maybe not. (we don't actually see the briefcase in the inflatable boat with the trotter).     It's all speculation for now.

;D while we're speaking of briefcases.... we still have one location left to spoil...  this briefcase sure gets around..    maybe it will help to clear up a few loose ends.

I think the briefcase holds the "riches" or waterpipes, and that the teams need to deliver it to the barons on the yacht for their next clue.

I doubt it. If they could care less about the location, then maybe. But the spy Roadblock doesn't stick out to me that well. Racers saying "The sky is blue" to random people though... :funny:

Her intro video talked about how she was learning to swim for the show, wasn't very confident yet, and was bringing pink floaties because they made her feel safer/more confident.  :(

That's just so cute! But bringing a partner onto the race who's both afriad of water and heights?? :(

. . . But i love the effort that Mika put in pre-race for the race!

 I wonder if this is the same area where the globetrotters are running towards.  Note similar crates near C/M.

eta: I see hookahs (waterpipes) in the trotter & C/M pix, could this be a "match the hookah" task?   :funny:

I may have to hedge a bit on the gold market. The spice souk, (according to wiki it's adjacent to the gold souk--and sells shishas) is just as much a match: awnings, columns and capitals, even the floor tiling. In fact, this may be the Trotter courtyard with the potted tree.

Do we know it is a RB? ??? I was thinking they both had to go down....

Exactly. Why would Canaan be in a swim suit as well (or even at the top) if he didn't have to do it himself?

I'm pretty sure Mika and Canaan are smart racers and Mika won't opt to do a "water" Roadblock if she's afriad of the waters.

And as puddin said, it's described as a task, we can't assume it's a Roadblock.

I think the water slide is a task teams have to perform in order to check in at the mat. It seems to be very much like the "swim the length of the pool" task just before reaching the mat in the Sri Lanka leg of TAR 6, even more than the "lead the tourists" task in the first ;eg this season.

It's the worst possible thing for Mika:
a.) it's not a roadblock, so she can't opt out and have Canaan do it
b.) it's not a detour, so they can't just choose a different task
c.) it's a perfect little mix of a couple of her greatest fears

all those letters together spell D-O-N-E in my book...

Exactly, the only way that is a detour is if the other option is to bungee of the Burj...LOL

Do we think that we will Canaan and Mika  get philiminated at the top of the water slide?

Or

Mika overcomes her fears and finishes strong?

Or even better...

Mika tells Canaan to go find Able and she rides off into the sunset on the boat with those gold guys.

Bye Mika  :waves:
