How about a spoiler-inspired course where us folks can all take turns spying on them?

Meet and greet at the airport with signs saying "Welcome to Hong Kong, John and Jane! Hope you enjoyed the Philippines. This way please!"

Hope there are 12 teams and a 2 hour season primere. So 14 legs total. NE=Non elimination (and surronding area)= couple of tasks/cluebox located in suburbs.

Leg1 Detroit Michigan- Lima Peru
Leg2 Lima Peru-Trujilo Peru
Leg3 Trujilo Peru- Mar Del Plata Argentina  NE
Leg4 MarDel Plata Argentina- London, England- Newcastle England(and surronding area)
Leg5 Newcastle England- Nice France

Leg6 Nice France- Monaco
Leg7 Monaco (through Nice)- Lome Togo(and surronding area) NE
Leg8 Lome Togo- Luanada Angola(and surronding area)
Leg9 Luanada Angola-Lisbon Portugal (and surronding area) NE

Leg12 Hanoi Vietnam-Jakarta Indonesia- Kosambi Indonesia

I'm not very fond of the South America legs. I do think the race should visit Latin America (Central America/Caribbean) and Africa more, and have less Asia.

I don't have a route laid out, but here are a few places I would love to see TAR 16 go to.

1.) Assisi, Italy-- birthplace of Saint Francis of Assisi.  There are so many great things they could do in the old medieval city. Production could find a way to include the several frescoes in the 3 basilicas in the old city. There's also a very iconic San Damiano Cross (which "spoke" to St. Francis) which racers could try to locate to find their next clue.

2.) Salzburg, Austria-- I know they visited here in TAR 14, but I felt like the city wasn't really featured well. Maybe they could do something "Sound of Music" related...as in "find these three locations prominently used in the filming of 'Sound of Music'."  The pitstop could be the hill where Julie Andrews did the famous twirl in the opening scene.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I would love for TAR 16 to finally start or end in my fair city of St. Louis...but I'm biased. :)

Phil has repeatedly stated that he loves loves Italy, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it the next season

if they go to Italy, which seems very possible, i think they'll go to Southern Italy or one of the main islands

i come to this conclusion due to a sort of pattern i see:

First visit: Rome/Central Italy

Second visit: Northern Italy

Third visit: Sicily

Fourth visit: Northernish Italy

Fiftth visit: Naples??/Bari??

It's only been 4 seasons since they went back to Italy. Italy is a pretty important place, what with all the culture (Roman Empire started there).

Yeah, I would bet on Naples/Pompeii. Second choice is Milan/Pisa. Vatican City would be nice, but I doubt it.  :duno:

Tromso, Norway:) Thats where I live. Dark almost 24/7 in the winter. Could be interesting. Reindeer-herding could be a fun task!

I see a couple of problems with this list, (1) Antarctica will never be visited and I said "no places that are impossible to visit"  Antarctica has no civillian airline service and weather down there can be unpredictable.  Also chartering planes will be tough to come by.  (2) This list has no new countries, all of the countries (excluding Antarctica) have been visited in the past seasons.
So anyone who wants to post a routelist, please add some new countries and do not use Antarctica, the moon, Mars, ect!!  Thank You
