Canaan Smith Gets Engaged

‘We Got Us‘ singer and ‘Amazing Race’ contestant Canaan Smith is officially off the market. The romantic singer proposed to his girlfriend, Christy Hardesty, and she said yes!
“Of all the blessings in my life, she’s the greatest,” Smith says of his wife-to-be. “We’re so excited for everything to come.”
The singer proposed in Florida a little over a week ago, and an official wedding date still to be announced. Judging from the wide grins on their faces, the couple is soaking in the bliss of being newly engaged and in love!
Smith, who opened for country duo Sugarland on their In Your Hands Tour, is a big fan of individuals who treat others well. “They are such class-act people, and those are the kind of people I want to be around,” he says of the duo.
Apparently, the country hitmaker’s wife-to-be must be a class act too, as he’s chosen to be ‘around’ her ’til death do them part. Congratulations to the happy couple!
