For those that can't hear
THE NEW SEASON OF "BIG BROTHER" KICKS OFF NEXT WEEK.
OUR JULIE CHEN, OF COURSE, HOSTS THE SHOW... AND SHE NOW GIVES US AN
EXCLUSIVE "FIRST LOOK" AT THIS SUMMER'S HOUSEGUESTS.
These are the twelve men and women who will soon be living together in the Big
Brother house... spending the summer cut off from the outside world. Their
backgrounds are diverse. But they have two things in common. A fierce
competitive spirit, and the desire to win the half-million dollar prize.
Julie: There's always eye candy, female and male.
Allison: Oh yes.
Julie: Tell me about the eye candy this year.
Allison: Well, we definitely of course as always have that, people who are
gonna look good hanging out by the pool. One would be Laura.
Laura: I'm not really worried about temptation. I'm going to BE the temptation,
I think, for the guys.
Allison: Oh, also Braden. Gorgeous, self-absorbed, and you know,
the California surfer boy.
Braden: I've learned extremely a lot throughout traveling around, you know,
Europe by myself. China by myself.
Kevin: The qualities that I possess that to make me the winner of Big Brother,
is that I am extra fabulous.
I mean, I'm fine saying I'm bisexual and stuff, cuz I don't think a healthy
relationship just needs to be with a man. It could be with a woman too.
And then I've got a dad who is a fifth grade teacher by day and a DJ by night.
Casey: I'm aging a little bit. I'm not as athletic as I used to be, but I think
I'll do alright in the physical competitions as long as my knees hold out.
Jordan: I'm definitely just not going to trust anybody. And if I have to use a
guy to get my way through the game, I will.
RUSSELL
Not being able to ride a motorcycle is going to be brutal. I'll have to get a
little tricyle and ride around, and pop it up every now and then.
NATALIE
I could be hanging from something, and my arms are burning, but you better
believe I'm not going to just fall, I'm going to keep going until I physically
can't go anymore.
Jeff: I'm Jeff, from Chicago. I'm in sales, advertising sales. I'm single right
now, which is a good thing.
Chima: We do little white lies everyday. You know, I tell my girlfriend she
doesn't look fat when she does. Or my boyfriend, he's good in bed when he's
not. LAUGH.
Allison: We have Michele, who is a Neuroscientist at Cal Tech. And we've never
had a really brainy female in the house.
Michele: Part of my job as a scientist is designing experiments, controlling
variables, predicting the outcome. I mean, that's basically the game of Big
Brother.
Ronnie: Hi, I'm Ronnie, I'm 30 years old, I'm married, and I'm originally from
Vienna West Virginia.
Allison: He is an obsessed gamer. The head of his college debate team. He can
debate anything, and he can name in order every single Big Brother house guest,
and how they were evicted and why, from Season One.
Ronnie: The most fun part of playing this game is probably going to be...
winning. (Smile)
